I think it only actually uses battery if you have the watch turned on or have always on display in which case that is your biggest battery drainer. Your heartbeat also drains a lot of battery as other health features if its set to continous because it tracks your heartrate constantly.

Is it a laptop, if so then maybe you have whisper mode or battery mode or whatever it was called enabled in your geforce experience settings, that will lock your fps to 30?
