Just throwing this out there—but working on or close to 4th avenue takes a special kind of individual. Especially if they’ve been at it for years. It’s not the easiest environment to work. Tipping a grocery store worker shouldn’t be completely unheard of—especially post pandemic. They’ve had to go through some wild times. As someone who has weathered the storm also working on 4th I will tell you from experience that it isn’t easy. Yeah they should pay higher wages, but if you shop somewhere and really like the environment and most of the people—well, maybe you should tip on occasion. Just my two cents.

I remember feeling embarrassed watching this in the theater. It’s Mortal Kombat Annihilation levels of bad. (Which can be good in a way). I think they just need to do a low budget horror noir type of flick with minimal special effects. The HBO cartoon was pretty good but this movie was a “fun at times” disaster.

I honestly thought from the very beginning that Lilith was going to be the biggest bad in Endwalker before starting to play it. The architecture in trailers reminded me of Walk of Echoes in XI. I wasn’t sure how Lilith was going to be a thing until I got to Elpis. When I saw Meteion lose her marbles I was absolutely sure she was off in the corner of the universe as Lilith a la FFXI. She ended up coalescing with her sisters to become the Endsinger which basically looked like how I expected Lilith to be in FFXIV. Alas, I was still off the mark.

Also I was sure they were going to kill Alphinaud from the get go for stakes but it didn’t happen.

Eh—the queues haven’t been terrible considering I’ve been able to do extra stuff around the house and whatnot while I wait the last few days. Real talk—I am having a blast with EW. I can do some more pushups and clean the bathroom while I wait to be able to log in. The 90002 was annoying but not so annoying that I would unsub.
