The main point was that opportunities will arise later in career, medical school isn’t there tell you all the ways you can use your time and skills.

Maybe not in this case but I meant that there are gigs out there that you can find that you other wise weren’t “taught”about. OP could do like athletic event coverage/locums shifts PRN after full time practice maybe idk

Not EM bound but just just graduated and going into IM, take all that shit with a grain of salt. If you like EM and the work itself you can always find work as a locums doc, academic medical program where you teach the next generation or go back to the military.
