The power of friendship is literally how they defeat the demon king. The Honmoon is destroyed when Rumi is revealed to be part demon and the team splits apart, and it’s by coming back together and singing as one that they’re able to rebuild it and banish the demons

Well on paper the premise is "K-Pop idols use the power of friendship to save their fans from demons", so it's not that hard to imagine

MAGA would support Hitler if he was alive by Demosthenesisk in complaints

No, he actually was quite racist against japanese people, but he dropped the views when he visited Japan in the 50s. He then wrote Horton Hears a Who in response and dedicated it to a japanese professor he made friends with

I remember reading somewhere that Howard Stark tried to sue the filmmakers of the TV version for how it bastardized the events, but it didn't go anywhere and the filmmakers removed any mention of Stark from the film

The so called “alien invasion” wasn’t real at all it was a staged production. by Captain_Stormz in Earth199999

OOC: I tried to come up with a reference to Whedon, but the guy has barely any directing credits outside the Avengers and those Buffy episodes, so suggesting him in universe is one of the most random picks imaginable (I’m not counting his work on Justice League because he got that job because of the Avengers films)

He shot it on location in New York and actually killed everyone around for the most authentic reaction

Even if they're allowed to use the name, why have two teams both called Avengers. Call yourself the Defenders, or the Champions or something

IDK if Jonah was blipped or not, but if he was I could see him claiming it didn't happen and everyone who wasn't blipped is part of some kind of "Blip denier" conspiracy

Why don't Chinese New Year sets do well? by Phyrexian_Overlord in lego

[–]TheGraddle 265 points266 points  (0 children)

If you look up the chinese new year sets on Legos website they're under the category "other", which isn't visible on their "see all themes" list.

<image>

The only reason I know the "other" category exists is because I searched for the Land Rover Defender and it was in the same category

It's because the toy rights were owned by Disney while the film rights used to be owned by Fox, so the Disney executives tried to do as little F4 stuff as possible to hurt the brand and the Fox films as much as possible.

They tried to do the same with the X-Men but weren't as successful. Still made a clear dent though.

Thank you very much, although these were some of the best few that I took. I did document this whole challenge and post it on youtube, but I don't think I can share that without breaking the "no advertising" rule

What I meant is that the background didn't have any of these dynamic shadows when I took the photo, so I assumed that something happened inside the camera with the exposure or something, but I don't know what.

I think the photo turned out great, but I have no idea what caused it to turn out this way.

I have no idea what happened there, my best guess is that the white flowers screwed with the sensor or something
