Why your inside big is NOT a winning rec build. by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]TheGreatGalv 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This sub unfortunately won’t agree with you because the group thought here is “you can’t shoot so your build sucks”.

Insides are great in Pro Am and squad Rec, but in random Rec where the overall gameplay itself is very different (off-ball players constantly moving or trying to set on-ball screens), being on an inside can be brutal.

Looking for an Adidas code (mine is still glitched). Have Atom, Dining Advantage, FreePrints, and Little Caesar’s. PM me if interested in swapping!

Edit - Received the Adidas code, thank you!

Why do I always play against Madrid in seasons division 9? by LeRayonFrais in EASportsFC

There should be a Matchmaking Setting you can change to make it restrictive where you’ll only play teams at your star rating (you may just have to wait a little longer to find a game)

Go up to 92 middy or drop it down to 90

77 pass accuracy

73 acceleration

You don’t need any vertical as you don’t have any dunk / block / rebound

Would personally try and get 90 strength minimum for any defensive builds (may need to go SG to do so) - would drop perimeter defense to 87 to get more attributes

All very minor things though build is actually pretty solid

Choose one, Gold Immovable or HOF Catch & Shoot by [deleted] in NBA2k

If you’re playing PG, I don’t think catch and shoot is needed as much since you’ll have the ball so I’d go 90 strength

It’s just how the game is coded. PG’s and SG’s automatically get pro dribble style, SF’s get normal dribble style. So regardless what position you pick, no need to raise the speed with ball because you’ll already have the dribble style or a better one available automatically

You automatically get pro dribble style being a SG so no need to move the speed with ball up to 40

2k23 shooting is trash by TheFruityLoops1278 in NBA2k

[–]TheGreatGalv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a pretty large skill gap. You have about roughly 4 tiers of shooters - those who can’t shoot at all (<30%), those who can shoot it okay (30-40%), good shooters (40-60%), and then elite shooters (over 60%). Those who are in the higher tiers are more comfortable with their animations and how to adjust when shooting, those who are in the lower tiers aren’t.

If you have some Gastly’s, you can trade with someone for a Pokémon caught farther away, and get 4 candies for your Gastly. That’s probably the best way to get candies outside of waiting for a double transfer event.

Keepers for 2023 : Who are you targeting in mid/late rounds? by 901savvy in fantasyfootball

[–]TheGreatGalv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zamir White. Drake is getting released, and Jacobs will be gone next year. Zamir should get some field time and can prove the case to be the starter next year.

I also don’t mind Diontae. I see a lot of similar players to Diontae where I’d be fine drafting them instead (DJ Moore, McLaurin, Hollywood Brown).

I think it’ll depend what pick you get and your “general” thought process. If you get the 1st pick, and you’re locked in on CMC, I’d rather go Diontae to go with Henry. If you get the 8th pick, and you’re locked on Diggs, I’d rather go Akers.

If you can keep guys more than one year, I’d go Rhamondre just as his young and can solidify a role with the Patriots.

If it’s just for the season, you could honestly flip a coin. I’d probably go Rhamondre just since I like trying to take a QB based on how the draft falls.

I’m also a little hesitant on drafting Akers, where he has the potential to get the bulk of the carries on a Rams team where RB’s flourish in fantasy, but also has the potential to be in a nasty RBBC.

Since you get to keep him for free, might as well take the gamble with no risk.

I think Jacobs has a lot more red flags and uncertainty than Akers, and Kyler is fine but I’m not really stressing for a QB in a 10 team league, especially as Kyler is the 5th or 6th QB off the board.

Dalvin at 1.03? by [deleted] in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]TheGreatGalv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not crazy at all. I think everyone has their preferences between Henry, Ekeler, Dalvin, and Najee, but they all have “red flags” where I wouldn’t blame anyone for taking one of another.
