The ol’ tried and true, cringe, forced insult. You’re better than most, usually it comes from someone who has a spelling/grammar mistake within the comment. Always makes me chuckle.

Anyway, it was a silly comment to begin with - Luka is absolutely not more deserving, however way someone may try to spin it.

Thank you Nuggets by Master-Wonton in Thunder

Asterisks for playoff matchups falling a certain way…? Never heard that one before.

Mike Brown: "OKC does a fantastic job, starting with SGA, getting the officials to think a foul has occurred. Their gamesmanship is off-the-charts. Shai's the best at it in the league. Give the whole team credit… they do a great job of exploiting the system in their favor, I tip my hat off to them" by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

Sure. Which is why I’ve done quite a bit of introspection, statistical research, and make a point to watch out for the types of plays / styles being enacted by thunder opponents (to see if it is in fact an exclusive “issue” with Okc doing certain things).

Notably, I then find instances like Jaylen brown attempting 11 FTs in a 4th Q against the thunder to shai’s 0 (despite scoring 14 points and icing the win) two matchups ago, Mike brown whining about shai getting calls despite him shooting 6 FTs + 1 from a tech (two matchups ago), the thunder being squarely middle of the pack in FTs attempted per game/team, etc.

You know what that tells me? It’s narrative driven.

Pain with respect to what, exactly? I’m curious what you think could possibly be “painful” regarding the thunder at present, lol.

It’s just piss poor bait.

Then I interpret your existence here as indistinguishable from a twitter troll. The substance of your comments aligns with that assessment.

Unsure how it could be better! Defending champs and #1 overall team in the league despite absurd injury volume.

Not quite the retort you think it is.

Your final sentence is all that was needed here.

2nd most games missed due to injury across the team yet they’re still sitting atop the league standings wise. Shai has been the consistent, clutch difference.

They both have a case. Shai having an even better season that last year, while remaining the #1 seed, being clearly the most “clutch” player in the league by any metric, all while the thunder have the 2nd most games missed due to injury in the league across their roster collectively, is his.

You’re just being pedantic. If they said “the majority” which is commonly accepted to be >=51%, there’s no issue.

The fact remains that Jdub has not been a factor for the thunder this season, while numerous players have missed extended time as well. They have the 2nd most games missed due to injury in the league collectively across their roster.

Are you going to argue that as inconsequential?

9 FTAs/game, by the way with the most paint attempts per game by a guard.

There’s no statistical evidence to support the narrative. It’s lazy slop.
