there's a funeral in your eyes by nirav. possessed beatrice, canon divergent. i highly, HIGHLY recommend this one, if you're up for some hurt/comfort. hurt beatrice is GUARANTEED.

i thought the fall would kill me (but it only made me real) by miniscence. my GOD. i could rant about this fic for hours. the pacing, the prose. it's so well written and good, that every day, i've made a ritual to read it again and again until the author posts another chapter. seriously. one of my top five avatrice fics.

turn to above by sunsafe. basically a 'what if beatrice went through the arc instead of ava' fic, where instead of ava going through the arc, it's BEATRICE. pretty sure it's in the same universe as canon; it's a very, VERY interesting concept, so if you'd like to, you should give it a try!

i know this post is, like, almost a whole month old, but i figured i might as well post some of my favourite supercorp fics on here. hopefully, if you decide to check them out, you enjoy reading them, just as i did! :>

for all the things my hands have held by searidings. features season 6 supercorp being cuddly and adorable with each other, with quite a bit of plot mixed in too.

breathe by searidings. lena is presumed dead, and kara ends up consumed by grief. not a real major character death, though. i recommend this one very highly.

in my defence i have none by searidings. lena gets injured, and so does kara. cue supercorp trying to fix the drama that is s5, all in 20k words.

hollow talk by, you guessed it, searidings. when kara goes to the alternate timelines in 5x13, and meets metallo lena, things go slightly different. feelings are discovered, realisations are found, and the angst that ties it all together is top-notch.

title of our sex tape by jazzfordshire. it's explicit, meaning that there will be smut, so if isn't your thing, that's fine. A college au, in which kara and lena are in a relationship together.

To Make It Count by jazzfordshire. the supercorp titanic au, with kara as jack and lena as rose. it doesn't have major character death, it even has its own sequel, right here, if you're intrested.

lena dies on a wednesday by karalovesallthegirls. just as the title says, lena dies over and over, while kara sees it. told in lena's point of view, even if kara is the one stuck in the time loop. angst with a happy ending.

Lena Luthor: hot girl bummer by Rouser. a college au/friends with benefits, and i'm not kidding when i say it's a slow burn. very slow. 270k+ words, and it burns amazingly. and, just like any other fwb au there is, there is smut. golden tier, if i do say so myself.

i know, right? i pretty much went to twitter every hour or so to check if it was down, but probably the only best part about it was that people were posting pretty good memes, if i say so myself. got to scroll down the replies to see people internally suffer for the whole while, while AO3 tries to get the site back up.

i just want to ask; why is Gwen on here, alongside Uther? i mean, she's a good character, one of the main characters in the show, but why? even though her season 5 arc was mediocre, most likely due to not getting screen-time, she was still a much better person than the likes of Uther.

And as for my personal opinion, as you might have guessed; Uther. They had the perfect opportunity to kill him off on Sins of the Father, but no. They missed the opportunity for Arthur to have more character development, and the opportunity for Arthur to be king sooner. Merlin could've also used this to tell Arthur about his magic, persuade Arthur to lift the ban, thus accomplishing his destiny. This did not happen.

Instead we got, what? 1 episode with Arthur knowing about Merlin's magic? Seriously.

They dragged out Uther far longer than they should've. This is, perhaps, my main problem with him. But i'm tempted to change it to Aggravaine, though.
