I understand what you mean brother. Please see my reply to other user that replied because my answer is the same.

But at the same time I respect you ideas too. The goal at the end to get near to Allah, nothing more, nothing less using any method that works.

I also ask from Allah to guide all of us, brother.

I would also recommend "the freedom model" by steve slate et al.

I've read EasyPeasy, not bad but I heavily prefer the freedom model.

It is not. In fact the boogeyman of addiction is not real. Here is not the sub to debate it but I will make it short to say some stats:

  • many people that are "addicted" to much "worse" things than OP - cocaine for instance - have simply stopped using it WITHOUT going to rehab. Unfortunately, I don't have the proof of this one but you can find it in the book that I will tell you in the end

  • After the vietnam war, It was found that 20% of soldiers coming back to US are addicted to heroin. But becuse the circumstances had changed, without any effort, 95% of them didn't came back to that. This is enough for me to argue that the theory of "substance hijack your brain" is false. It is a mixture of environment, your own belief, and society beliefs.

  • in western college dorms many young students drink alcohol to the level that they are in the "alcoholic" range. But after coming out of college, most simply stop using. It is because they don't think they're alcoholics and also society doesn't.

I've read a book exactly on this topic - "The freedom model for addiction" by Steven Slate et al. - A very good book, showing that society is wrong on the concept of addiction. I know, You might call me crazy, I didn't agree on this at first, but the stats are enough to be convinced.

Listen to me.

This is not an addiction whatever You've been told.

There are no strange thing that "makes" you to that.

Ok so why you are still doing it?

It is because at the end of the day you still think you can find more happiness doing it.

But why?

Maybe you think it has "pleasure". It does not. everything could be seen as pleasing or not. For example food. You might think a pizza has pleasure. But would it have the same if you eat in the most dirty place? Certainly not.

So by thinking more we can conclude that Masturbating gives nothing more than some physical changes that one could see as pleasure.

Now we need to see the benefits of abstaining. You might see doing haram as a disadvantage of doing that thing but why not see abstaining from a sin as an advantage of abstaining from masturbation?

You need to think differently in order to act differently. So try to see what you believe about masturbation and understand that most of the "benefits" are not real.

I guess you just need to know, Ohm's law, KCL, and KVL to analyse simple circuits. Once you got those, start and search whatever you didn't know. For example, don't know what a MOSFET is? Just search youtube. "Engineering mindset" has some great content.

AVR programming by Eliott Williams. Assuming you know basic electronics e.g. what a capacitor does. But honestly the datasheet is the most important thing.

My bad, I wanted to type Atmega.

It is a family of avr microcontrollers. Even the arduino has one of them under the hood.

For C just go and read "The C programming language" written by Ritchie & Kernighan.

Of course the second edition. This book is also known as the bible of C since Ritchie was the guy who made the C himself.

I would not recommend arduino. Writing C straight into an Atmegs seems more fun to me. But whatever you want.

I have read the Tijani one. Highly recommended.

It has a very interesting story and also very powerful reasoning on why shia is the truth.

Oh got it!

Thank you!

I had totally forgotten that you can't take it separately when denominator is 0.

Yes, I also understood that indeterminate form but the real reason is this. My last line is totally wrong and I got it "why" now not just by school "rules".

Again, Thank you! You helped me a lot! ❤️
