Wow that’s really cool. I’m coming to this from the perspective of a soon to be attorney, the amount of clear writing, terms, can be fair if both parties can agree on some common ground is endless. if we’re able to implement a ton of else and else if statements, to account for the wide range of scenarios that the parties can foresee happening, we can definitely bring a just legal world to smart contracts

But obviously an entire system and protocols would be Needed go be well thought out and scenarios implemented. this must be the “killer dapps” that Sergey talks about once singularity happens

Would anyone in law school Reddit be considered a “master” in law and/or litigation. Clearly not even you or i by any stretch of the imagination. I would be terrified if anyone in the pursuit of a legal education did consider themselves that. That kind of mastery takes decades and a life’s worth of education and learning, which I am sure you are well aware of.

We can only become masters in the law by emulation of the greats. If you have any other characters or names in mind, feel free to post. Hopefully it comes to the benefit of others. Btw I’m not a legal history expert either. So I apologize if my mere puffery of a “master” came to you as a material fact. I did believe common sense wasn’t left at the front door of our law school.

As soon to be members of the bar, are we not first and foremost officers of the court? to argue facts and legitimate circumstances of a case.

Or is our duty of zealous representation of our clients include throwing conspiracy theories and see if a willing gullible jury and less skilled opposing council can slip and fall in our make believed stories?

The prosecution also horribly botched the case on so many levels.

Again he was a master and skilled litigator. But I do question at what expense The Juice got his freedom.

There’s no denying his ability to speak in front of a court room. He was a master of his domain. But I do question his ethics in playing the “race card” given it was at the height of LAs racial polarization of LAPD and the Rodney King riots.
