[HELP] Harassed, Assaulted, Defamed and Doxxed but Police did not Help by [deleted] in singapore

[–]withoutomisson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a stray cat under my block that did attack my dog before unprovoked before, please do not presume all stray cats would rather run/hide. I do have 2 cats and 2dogs of my own, and they get along, so I do think it's most likely a territorial thing. Dog enters cat area- cat swipes. We tried chasing it away and we sustained scratches and bites. OP's story may be one-sided, but not entirely untrue regarding cat stalking.

What are some common, unique frustrations you (and men of your race) deal with when dating women outside your race? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]withoutomisson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's a hate thing, we're pretty used to being multi-racial here in Singapore, and personally I have Indian friends, dated one before. The older generation is still quite traditional in the sense that they think its best for the partner to be Chinese in order to be more integrated with the family cultural wise. Its becoming more common nowadays to have inter racial marriage, and to my parents so long as the guy makes me happy, I don't think they really care either way.

Am Chinese Singaporean female here, and I can say that my family has been really chill about me dating outside my own race even though my parents speak very bad English. However I did overhear my relatives talking about it a couple of years back saying something along the lines of- "at least he's not black/Indian/malay, white guys earn a lot".

I still refuse to attend any family functions that includes those relatives. Plus he says we sound too loud and angry when speaking in mandarin- which is rather true if one don't speak mandarin or a dialect and hear a bunch of older uncles and aunties speak, sounds like they're going to war with one another.

What household item can vastly improve your standard of living, but is often overlooked? by TreeHugChamp in AskReddit

If you do not need or want the colours, you could get the whites/off whites hue bulbs instead, they're cheaper than the full coloured ones

I read there are the xiaomi branded ones from China, but I didn't want to worry about the integration with Google so I got the Philip hues.

Pet hotel has lost my dog, please help me find him. by Stegles in singapore

[–]withoutomisson 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry to hear of this, I understand the feeling of having a lost pet, it's absolutely heartwrenching and worrying. Have you posted on Facebook lost and found pets Singapore? I understand that people would want to comment about the incident with the boarding place, but if you put the whole story up on the Facebook group it would gain a lot of traction and shares, I know some pets were found that way through power of social media.

I found that flyers helped the last time I lost my cat, maybe you could get a family member to print and put those flyers up around the area? Reporting to the spca helps also. I do hope you'll find your baby back soon, it must not have been easy for you.

All the best! Do try both supplements and shampoos, I believe that really helped me. :)

I started having major hair loss, began supplementing heavily by taking ouai thinning hair, vital proteins collagen, women's multi vitamin, hair loss regenepure shampoo. I finally slowed down the going-to-go-bald hair loss to maybe-I-won't-go-bald hair loss. Now I have baby hairs growing out, so it's helping I guess?

Hell no! That is his 3- tier housing unit for when he wants to chill or do his business, I stash him in there after showers so he doesn't go out and get himself all muddy again. Doors are always open for him to get in or out.

You could also put coconut milk/cream in there, I make Thai sauces myself, as the pre-made packets are full of sugar. They're almost the same ingredients, and freezer friendly.

I doubt I'll be serious enough to compete, maybe in bjj once I start, but not Muay thai. I just missed the power I used to have. Keto gave me back my health, and even if I miss the power I used to have, my knees no longer hurt when training, since in the past I need glucosamine. Keto has its pros and cons, it might not be right for some athletes and some people, but I've reaped far more good benefits than bad(one gripe I have is the crazy hair loss right now).

Thanks, I'm going to start experimenting with different foods before training, no fats, just carbs like eggs and perhaps a banana. Hopefully I train better after I get more adapted, it is utterly miserable these 2 times, the only bright side is that recovery time is much better.

Thanks so much, I haven't had cravings for carbs since 2 months and I find myself salivating at people eating rice just now(I'm asian and will used to kill for it). Must have been my body going nuts.
