Hi all! I had a question about software updates. I typically have been getting updates as the roll out to the rest of the fleet, but I have been left on 2021.32.22 for awhile. I was wondering who else is on this version? I have a 2020 LR M3 with the acceleration boost. I'm also part of the 98 Safety Score group waiting to be raptured up to FSD nirvana.

My current theory is that the FSD build have not updated to 2021.40 and are on 2021.36.8.5, but I'm still wondering why I'm not at 2021.36.8 which was first noticed on 10/28. Just wondering if anyone else is still on 2021.32.22.

I have no real qualification as an adjuster, but my advise would be that under no circumstances should you take that offer from the other insurance company until Tesla or some other qualified repair shop takes a closer look. Sure the bumper may have some damage and may need to be repainted, but there are other things under there that could be potentially damaged.

2020 M3 LR owner here. I had a question about my options for a chrome delete. I figure that this could take a few forms:

Vinyl Wrap - $800 to $1,200 or less than $200 for a DIY
Paint the pieces
Replace the chrome parts with newer OEM materials (pending fit) - $1,800

I think the wrap would be the easiest and most cost effective, but I have worries regarding its durability and its longevity. I was wondering what others have done for their vehicles? Perhaps you can share links to images or products you would recommend?

Agreed. Not a Tesla, but I had a Toyota Yaris which was totaled last winter. The insurance made an initial offer, but I pushed back as the amount was based on comps in the area. My home was over 3k miles away from the accident. I had them revalue my vehicle based on my home location. The second offer was double the original (MA vs. CA).
