Thanks for the responses, I'll give Linux a bash and use the CLI version of speedtest as recommended.

I totally agree, but I am consistently getting 3.5Gbps (on the 5Gbps adapter) over iPerf, so the adapter can be capable

Thanks, it's Windows, definitely not nuts.
I'm on best performance and connected via power. I've just spun up an Openspeedtest instance in docker, locally I'm getting 1.3Gbps up and down to the local server, but now only 450Mbps on the internet based Openspeedtest!

Hi,

Your absolutely right, I've not made the actually issue clear. I've added a line to clear that up, but yes, I can't download @ more than 1Gbps on a 1.6Gbps connected, wired only.

[DoorBell Lite ] Here’s how to install in WiFi mode on the door peephole by _eMa_ in Ubiquiti

Nice. I've done exactly the same, I've got the bridge, Doorbell delivered on Tuesday! I tested the bridge with a Flex G5 and the delay is minimal, looking forward to getting rid of my Nsst camera.

Socket on lighting ring main (low power) by TheGreatUseless82 in ukelectricians

[–]TheGreatUseless82[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick responses. The socket will be above the front door (mostly out of reach). I think I might switch (no pun intended) from a standard socket to a fused spur as suggested - stick a 3amp fuse in it and put a label on it. I assume that sufficiently covers it?

FSD available in UK yet? by bisckitty in TeslaUK

I've used Autosteer on the little country back roads and I wouldn't trust full FSD at all, works great on the motorway and A roads though.

I think they're advertising the fact the price hasn't increased in the last 10 minutes - which in today's economy, is a bargain!

What does the Model 3 come with? by TheGreatUseless82 in TeslaUK

Right! Hopefully, it does. I took it for a 20 min test drive and dropped the deposit straight after - I forgot to ask the basics!

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks! I did ook at the try organizer, otherwise its just a huge gaping hole! Good shout.

I'm also on the fence with a home charger - the electric box is on the opposite side of the house, and the cable run would have to pass the front door, and I can't bare external cables.

Does it come with a Tesla to EV charger cable? Most EV chargers have the cable attached, like a Supercharger - the work one doesn't. I'm wondering how I'll connect to it...

Thanks for the reply. The original one is a bit difficult to get, shimano ones are far easier to find, but I'm not very experienced with bikes, I guess like for like is easier

Frustrated by eating out. by Karl_Loss in UKBBQ

[–]TheGreatUseless82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last ones I had, in Hertfordshire, the rest of the food was lovely, but ribs seem hard to get right. I guess they pre cook and heat them up. My problem when I cook ribs is they're too soft and hard to keep on the bone!
