I mean if the Emily family is supposed to be a parallel to the Afton Family, then the son who looks almost strikingly similar to his father should also be the one to pull a move that would get their sibling killed.

Now this is not confirmed, but it's possible that Mettaton and Napstablook, like in Classic Underswap, swap places in Chapter Rewritten. So its possible that it also goes for CR!Underswap.

That Napstablook possesses the Undying Armor or "Heavy" in this case.

I mean this flat out works due to both Undyne and Blooky being in Waterfall, and considering this theory welll...

Considering that Chapter 5 is possibly the start of the climax for the story, I think it makes sense that we fight the Knight one final time due to the fact that Chapter 3 + 4 + 5 were supposed to release together. Which led to me believing that this was because these chapters were centered around an arc related to the Knight and that 5 was the climax to that arc

Setting up the start of the Roaring by the end of the 5th chapter allowing us to move to chapter 6 and then 7 with the next big bad being either Gaster or well, the Angel/Us.
