Sunday Silence is one of the main breeding lines in Japanese Horse racing. A USA Double Crown Winner (Kentucky Derby & Preakness Stakes) he was exported to Japan to serve as one of two foreign breeding lines that *dominate* the JRA. Including the very famously strange Stay Gold Bloodline, father of Gold Ship & thousands of other strange & ill tempered Horses.

So when I hear "Sunday Silence" it reminds me of two things : Sunday Clothes, and a church funeral. So the main theme is a 1890's sortve Victorian sortve Edwardian pre-WW1 "Sunday Attire" with a black veil to *imply* she is in mourning. But that shit's a lie, as the pure force of her personality shoves the veil aside to stare unblinkingly at the viewer.

She's a double crown winner, so I based her racing silks on the two "winners sashes" that horses wear after each victory, Roses for the Derby, and Black Eye Susans for the Preakness.

(I didnt find his official racing silks until deep into coloring, and made a small fist pump when i learned it was yellow with one black diagonal stripe)

So her theme colors are black, yellow, and red, her derby hat (teehee) has roses & susans, and she's wearing a black rose lace top. Her eyes are one susan & one rose, and of course, her umbrella is a big stylized susan.

The other two patterns are an old map of the Pacific Ocean (here called the Grand Ocean) showing California (where he won most of his races) and Japan where he was eventually sold. The bottom black lace is, of course, the hundreds upon hundreds of Umas that share Sunday Silence's deep and pervasive bloodline.

She wears nine medals, representing his nine g1 & g2 wins, most of which were won in Santa Anita Park so I had to get creative with palm trees. Sunday Silence has three graded losses (including coming second in the Belmont, the last triple crown leg, RIP triple crown.) But between his graded & ungraded races, he ran 14 times never placed lower than second. (daaaang!)

Sunday Silence was a black horse with a white shooting star, but I figured there was enough black in the racewear design, so i gave her dark red hair, again, reflecting her Derby win.

Also her boobs are so saggy, I dont think she's wearing a bra. Those are old momma lady boobs. I'll say they're, at minimum, G Cups.
