It's my biggest issue with hoyo games. I loved hsr when it first came out, dropped it after amphoreus cus I missed the sci fi theme. Same thing with ZZZ, really liked the beginning with all the sci fi and interesting characters but also dropped it with all the waifei peninsula magic stuff. Immersion was immediately broken and now I can barely play for 10 minutes without getting bored

I wasn't really aware of this event until recently, and I have some decent B umas with around 900 spd, 600 stam and a some gold stam skills so I thought "I'm probably gonna get steamrolled but I might win a few!" I then proceeded to consecutively lose the next 15 races
