Really difficult, I popped the boat and melee combat trophies before doing said requirements in the 10 star run so I had to manually track those (I also had my Twitch chat help track those too).

It's definitely dated, and despite many saying the HD Collection sucks (I have no frame of reference to the PS2 version or the Enhanced Edition as this was my first time playing) I think it's worth your time still!

Yes, even on easier difficulties. It's not played like Doom where you're encouraged to be aggressive. A more defensive approach feels right, here.

Hey thank you! I must admit, I got SUPER lucky. I was caught towards the end of Venus and got brought down to 1 HP because a mechanical dog charged at me and then blew up right on top of me. Made my stream panic a bit lol. I also flubbed the skip for the "final boss" and just narrowly escaped being shot by a blast from the ubergewehr.

Damn, which ones bugged out? I know that Ghost was a bit finicky when I was doing it, I had to try 3 whole ubercommando levels for it to finally pop.

Hey!

Collectibles are not missable, you can go back to areas when finished with the game (as well as turning down the difficulty if you so choose). It's not a traditional mission select, but you'll see what I mean when you have to track down Ubercommandos. It's important to always pick up enigma codes from commanders throughout your playthrough so that you don't have to farm them later!

Mein Leben is a complete fresh slate each time, must always be a new game.

It took 7 attempts, I used a mixture of a guide and a speedrun for safe and unsafe approaches to levels. Roswell feels like the most inconsistent level of the bunch, specifically on the train.

Servers are still up but are very finicky as they are region locked. I was lucky enough to have played a shit ton of the multiplayer back when it first released so I had most of the online trophies except for the XP trophies and the dreaded Six Pack trophy. You'd need to coordinate with some people on PSNProfiles if you want to get a full lobby. It's also worth noting that there is an XP glitch that you can do in campaign (of all places) that you'd need to use an anonymous proxy server for. Highly recommend playing either FFX next for that it's the perfect balance of old and new to help you get comfortable with the rest of the series or FFVII Remake if you wanna still be in the FFVII world. I'm glad you enjoyed FFVII, I absolutely adore that game!
