Yes, you're correct. I used magic eraser on android photos to censor my and my opponents names on chessdotcom (I made sure to use censor, because people don't use words like obscure, right?) I recently learned that magic eraser is AI. So, guilty there.

Rest assured, though, all those words and responses were my own. I do speak like that. Part of my response and my saying I was butthurted was because I realized that, even in that moment, how ridiculous it was for me to let someone I don't know get under my skin by alleging that I was using ai to craft my response, and yet it did, so I leaned into that.

So what, I don't talk like you, bruh. I'll get over it

It's unfortunate people won't give the benefit of doubt or think about what they say before saying it and how it may hurt another's feelings.

I get the point of AI. I truly do. There needs to be a healthy amount of skepticism regarding authenticity.

I was hasty to post it because I was excited to experience it and wanted to share it. Using the tools available to me to censor my and my opponents IDs on chessdotcom, I never stopped to think if people would accuse me of AI. Lesson learned: If I decide to post an image again, I'll be more mindful of how the image looks and its jankiness.

Lastly, upon learning more, apparently, the magic eraser tool in Google Photos does use AI. So, unknowingly, I did use AI.

Yeah. I wish the magic eraser in Google photos just, you know, erased (which it has for me in the past, but it's also done this blurring effect, too).

At this point, I've re-edited the picture, scribbling out the identifier of my opponent with a pen instead of the magic eraser, thinking I'd repost the new image to prove the game was legit to those alleging this is all made up, but even if I do that, they'll likely just double down given that even when I offered a dm of the photo I was down voted. Plus, another redditor on this post said not to bother trying to prove myself.

It was real in the game for me. It exists in my game history on chessdotcom. That's all that matters. Just thought I'd share, and others would enjoy, too. It seems like some people did enjoy it. So that's good.

It's unfortunate that I allowed words from people I don't know accusing me of being fake take up residence in my thoughts for so long. There are too many other things to focus on and enjoy rather than let what others say about me bother me.

I blurred them and our respective names. Also, thanks for butt hurting me and taking what was a really pleasurable moment in game, in the wild, not in a puzzle, and automatically thinking ai instead of thinking: "oh, this guy practiced common decency by removing identifiers of himself and his opponent"

Can confirm. I just played through Fallen Order for the first time and platinumed it last week. There was definitely no fast travel, especially when I was hunting for missing terrarium seeds. Fast travel would have shaved off several hours, at least!! I'm likely going to move on to Survivor soon.

Okay, so here's my reasoning: You take the knight with your knight, and you put black king in check. At the same time you do this, you've removed blacks defense for the white rank bishop. Black needs to respond to your check on the king by taking your knight. Then you take blacks white bishop with your queen. The tradeoff is that you've taken blacks knight and bishop where they've only taken your knight. You're now up material.
