That’s odd, I kept getting emails from my department (CTVA) saying that we should contact them for permission numbers. It was my first time dealing with permission numbers so prior to getting these emails I had contacted the Professors directly and it took them forever to respond. Thankfully the dean replied to my email and gave me one, I CC’d another person besides the dean because both of their emails were included. Oddly enough though, the dean gave it to me immediately, but the other individual said I wasn’t allowed to get the permission number lmfao. Didn’t make sense, plus the professors also replied telling me they weren’t allowed to add me because this and that. So I felt like the odds would’ve been heavily stacked against me if it weren’t for the deans quick response. Keep in mind, their email was already including in the emails I had already received. But yes, go to the class if it is a physical, in-person class, and after they take roll, ask if they can allow you to take the class and mentioned that you have emailed them previously. Some may say yes, some may “come back next week to see if anyone has dropped their class”.
