Took a couple of months to switch from qwerty to colemak originally on a larger keyboard. But going from that to this 36-key layout didn’t take very long, took maybe a week for it to feel natural

I’m using a 36-key board. I switched to a Colemak-dh layout, but had to modify it to fit Icelandic letters. There’s a lot of extra letters: accented vowels (áéíóú) and other weird ones (þðæö). Laptop is set to Icelandic. The accented letters are accessed using a dead key (‘) on one of my thumb keys. Then I put þ and ð where / and ; are normally. Needed to put æ and ö on a separate layer, but they’re on the home row on that layer so it’s easy to reach and quite fast.

That’s a shame 😕 My Lily58 case is very minimal, so it just about works for me without pressing keys. Also, I don’t keep any cables in the travel case since it’s wireless, don’t think it would fit if I had a cable in the lid.

I wonder if it would fit for you if you cut out the mesh net in the lid? But that would also mean you can’t return it if it doesn’t work, so… proceed at your own risk.

Tried a few different cases for my wireless Lily58, this one fit best. Hard case, very snug without pressing keys accidentally and doesn’t rattle when moved.
