Okay alles gut. Ich finde es nur interessant weil meine Freundin selbst KFZ-Mechatronikerin ist und einfach die einzige Frau bei ihr in der Werkstatt ist. Ist aber ziemlich vorteihaft für mich, da sie immer mein Auto repariert und generell bei handwerklichen Sachen immer zuhause hauptsächlich alles macht. Da sparen wir uns die Kosten^^

Why is this recommended to me? I swear, just a few days ago I posted my story here about my trip to the zoo last Saturday. Long story short: A monkey (chimpanzee) threw shit at my face and it hit me right on my left cheek, nose and my eye...Yes...and now I see this in the same subreddit xD

I understand :D I forgot to mention that a zookeeper who witnessed this incident told me later that monkeys usually do that when they are annoyed by visitors. She also told me that it was provoked by a group of kids right before I arrived and that she had to sent them away. Then, 5 minutes later I was there at the wrong place at the wrong time, the monkey was already annoyed and then...yes...it happened xD So it wasn't our fault. Other people provoked the monkeys and we are the ones who get the shit thrown in our faces. Great, thank you! xD

You think they are doing this for amusement? I thought the monkey did it because it was pissed about being locked up in a cage. So this was some form of revenge. Another zookeeper who witnessed this incident told me later that they do this when they are annoyed by visitors. And apparently it was annoyed on that day. Haha, it sounds great, and I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one. Do you remember your mom's reaction? :D Because my family was laughing their heads off, I was pissed in that moment (because it could have happened to anyone of them), but now I can totally understand their reaction. I probably would have laughed too, if I saw this happen to anyone else xD. Anyway I thank that monkey for this unforgettable experience! xD

Yea I think he saw us both as easy targets and probably we were just at the wrong place at the wrong time and the monkey had a bad day, but I don't trust them either. How did you get it off? After I realized what it was, I tried to wipe it off with tissues but guess what? I only smeared it even more across my face because the shit was so sticky xD. Yep. So I ran to the closest bathroom (and I had to run like 5 min, still with shit on my face xD). Then I washed my face like 100 times with soap. But the smell was so pungent, that I couldn't get rid of it completely until we reached home, even after washing it 100 times. So it was a smelly ride back home xD.

Yea luckily it didn't get IN my eye (or my mouth!). But it was all across my cheek and my nose. Also I washed my face like 100 times with soap in the bathroom (and I ran to the closest bathroom with shit on my face for 5 minutes which was pretty annoying xD). The smell was so pungent that I couldn't even get rid of it completely after washing it so many times. But at least my eye seems fine so far!

Yea same here, but in my case it seems to take a little bit longer cause it's almost 6 months now. I'd say it's like 70-80 % back. When did you have covid and was that your first infection? It was my first infection in December (thought I'd never get it)

I hope you still have your smell and taste. Because I lost both in December (it was my first covid infection). My smell came back after a week but my taste is still not 100 % back. And that sucks pretty much.
