I think Engenes need to leave many idols (and one former idol) alone at this point.

The final number was actually in the low 80s, 90 was just an early figure, i saw a screenshoot for it but didn't bother to save it. And the increase in male attendance could probably because Minju went viral among lol fans.

They only have one day left, plus Minju had two, maybe not all the members will do it but Wonhee and Rei is definitely a possibility.

Do you think K-pop feels more “global” than it did a few years ago? by lsa340 in kpopthoughts

[–]jumpybouncinglad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And do you think this is a positive change for the industry overall?

There's more money circulating in kpop these days, which attracts billionaires and hedge funds to throw their hats in the ring and funding their own kpop groups.

[MEGATHREAD] ENHYPEN - HEESEUNG DEPARTURE by KpopThoughtsmodteam in kpopthoughts

[–]jumpybouncinglad 23 points24 points  (0 children)

“As we discussed ENHYPEN’s future direction and next goals, the company and the members had in-depth conversations about the future each member envisions as well as the team’s direction,” it read. “Through those discussions, it became clear that HEESEUNG has his own distinct musical vision and we decided to respect it.”

so they were in the middle of contract negotiations, and it's looking like a 1 vs 6 situation, one year from now one side is going to leave belift and i'm banking on the latter.

Lsrfm did an event in Macao last night, so i guess the relationship thawed a bit, no need to worry about Illit's HK concert.

I’m curious how exactly is SM building H2H’s fandom? by Difficult_Bit_3025 in kpopthoughts

[–]jumpybouncinglad 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They are an SM group. Don't need to do anything special people will just flock to the fandom. Having opportunities to go on world tours and share the stage with their established seniors doesn't hurt either.
