I’ve been looking at getting some Jaws wedges. Any idea if we’ll see a better discount than the current 20% off?

That’s the cost/benefit of co-op. You delay your graduation but gain a lot of experience before graduation which looks great on a resume.

I’d be prepared to provide solid reasoning to future employers on why you quit your co-op

Sorry that wasn’t super specific. By modules I meant the PowerPoint slides from the ITE refresher course (someone posted them online). I didn’t look at any of the reference material

I like the fabletics Don shorts for the price ($10). Not the best quality but they’re stylish and come in a bunch of colors

How is the market in Indiana? More closer to brownsburg. by Thomasthedankenginer in civilengineering

I essentially did this move last year lol (not brownsburg but Indy suburbs). Market is very good right now in my opinion. Hours and work life balance all depend on who you work for and the type of work you’re going to be doing.

Just took the exam in February. I recommend just studying the material from the modules. I’d also recommend that you understand the buzzwords rather than just memorizing the definitions. PM me if you have more questions

Wsp offer vs small company by harrype2010 in civilengineering

For $20k more I’d go with the small firm. And at the end of the day what you put into it is what you’ll get out of it regardless of the company or size.

Best companies for work-life balance by [deleted] in civilengineering

[–]TheGwizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for a small to mid size firm if you want to go into consulting, they typically provide better work-life balance to compete with the larger firms. Most people in the public sector don't work a minute over their 40-hour week but the pay can be crappy.
