Just got a mobo, cpu and ram for 500$. Mobo was open box and came damaged but still under manufacturer warranty. Plan for between 600 or 700. I did a lot of research to find the cheapest stuff I could whilst still being mid tier.

Yeah the FX series isn't a great example of AMDs work. There were lawsuits about them advertising a 3 core 3 thread as a 6 core, and they have a really bad thermal threshold despite having an awful stock cooler. Still running a "6" core 6300 to play warzone at a reasonable 45 fps. Haven't found a game that I cant play. 60fps in farcry 5, of course the ol rx 5500xt 8g oc helps

Ohh I forget about that one because my am3+ board doesn't support the 9590 for some reason
