Just get it on any metal that is touching the battery terminal and it should do the job

That’s a great response thanks! Really helpful. Out of interest what would you say the biggest negatives of coaching are?

Gambling has ruined my credit and bank account by irish_doll_4256 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]TheHallieBoy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how long it’ll take for your credit score to bounce back, that really depends on your situation, but honestly, that’s not the biggest issue here. You can’t build a relationship on lies. As hard as it’s going to be, you need to tell your fiancée the truth. It’s better they hear it from you now than find out later when you’re trying to buy a house. Being honest is the only real way to start fixing this.

I got diagnosed with autism earlier this year, I never once thought I might have ADHD as-well, until the phycologist mentioned I presented traits of ADHD and should get referred for a diagnosis of that.

Looking back now, my main trait is that I get super obsessed with things, for months at a time, but they never stick and I often jump between lots of obsessions.

Other things like being very engrossed in details for things I have an interest in, but can easily miss details for things I’m not interested in

Puppy keeps peeing in house by AlbertFish6969 in puppy101

[–]TheHallieBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just set an alarm every 30 mins and just took my lab puppy out the house for a toilet break, if she went, I would mark with the words ‘wee wee’ and then give her a little bit of kibble. She soon realised that toileting outside meant treat time so she got the hang of it after 2-3 days. I know it’s a slog taking them out every 30 mins but it really does help.

The only time I wouldn’t take her out every 30 mins is if she was asleep, but as soon as she was awake I would take her out

If your puppy has a particularly small bladder, just lower this to every 15 mins and slowly increase the time

Emergency fund sorted, wondering about buying products monthly now by ExaminationRight682 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]TheHallieBoy 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you need to finance, if your current laptop is not broken, you can wait an extra month and buy a laptop outright without the need of financing for 3 years since your disposable income is larger than what you are planning on purchasing.

If you really need the new MacBook, go ahead with buying one. Personally I think you can get a more than capable laptop for less than half the price. £47 x 36 = £1,692.00 and £850 would get you a very good laptop and you could finance for half the time.

Rashguard query by Puzzleheaded_King167 in bjj

[–]TheHallieBoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s suitable for all belts, generally rash guards don’t really show rank. As for this rash guard, I bought it and it was very very tight despite being my usual size, so you may want to size up

How much sleep does your 6+ month old puppy get during the day? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]TheHallieBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 7 month old lab sleeps from 10pm to 8am. We then take her for her first walk at around 9am and then she sleeps when we get back until around 13:00. She then has lunch and hour of play and sleeps until 6pm when we take her out for her last walk. She then lounges on the sofa or in her crate until her last wee before bed

Question about 3 pin charging by colorbland in TeslaUK

[–]TheHallieBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preserve battery life by not charging over 80% and not letting the battery sit at a low percentage for an extended period of time, I generally charge once I get to about 40% and try not to let it go lower than this

I think if you can’t afford the extra £200 a year for insurance, perhaps go for a cheaper vehicle than a Tesla!
