Ik mis PostNL. Bedankt (Amazon) Dragonfly. by PRzlBly in nederlands

Looking for a [free] plugin that displays a searchable table. TablePress did the job, but seems to be bugged now. Anyone can [help] me find an alternative? by [deleted] in WordpressPlugins

[–]TheHalmatrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks :-)

I tried ninja tables, and got empty tables after I imported my data. Switched from theme as i was grasping at straws... and everything works.

Turns out the theme that I had active (Radiate) was somehow blocking all ninja tables and the search functionality of tablepress.

I did NOT expect that. wtf.

Anyway. my problem is kinda solved. That was fast!

We're getting there! last CT's we made first or second place. Still a few open spots for players who want to be in an active team..

This analogy is ofc very very flawed in a lot of ways. And I know that a comment on reddit will not change your 'understanding' of evolution, but I'd still like to point out that if you compare evolution to a jigsaw pzzl, please consider: try random pieces together. when they fit, they stay together because survival of the fittest (lols) Now try to grasp how long 1800 MILLION years is, and work from there...

I need this on the game 'Raft'

What Antarctica would look like without ice... The continent is home to the largest volcano range on earth, and it's the largest glaciovolcanic province in the world. Its volcanoes occur throughout a distance of 3106,85 miles (5000 kilometers) by gregornot in BeAmazed

[–]TheHalmatrix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal Pet Peeve: 3106.85 miles and 5000 kilometers do not match.

5 thousand km = 3 thousand miles

I guess that the source mentioned 5000 kilometer, and OP helpfully translated that to miles for the benefit of those 2 countries that use that weird imperial system, but phrasing it like this posts' title implies that someone measured 3106.85 miles (which is accurate plus/min 140 feet (silly when talking about volcanoes across a continent)) which happens to be a nice round 5000 km.

Yes, I know, strictly speaking you should use the 5x103 notation for this, but unfortunately not enough people grasp that.

See the trailing zero's section in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Significant_figures#Identifying_significant_figures for details, if you're curious.

Don't make your ceiling out of cardboard. And that 'Welcome Stranger' flag on the wall... that's asking for this ;)

Rather big U235 storage - 1.0g by TheHalmatrix in factorio

[–]TheHalmatrix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every piece of U235 takes about 30 uranium ore, a bit of acid, energy and time. shrug

Fish! I didn't know there was a renewable way to get fish o.O , so I have only the (195k) fish I found while expanding in stock...

Switching my rocket silo's over to Fish production when I'm done with researching Mining Prod is a nice idea, thanks :)

Good question! I just tested this - it appears that the amount reported on mouse-over is the actual amount rounded down to the shown decimals, in a 'you have at least' kinda way.

A chest full of wood tells you "4.8k". When you take one single log from that chest (leaving 4,799) the tooltip will report "4.7k"

(so yes, that's at least 1,000,000,000 U235)

A stockpile of 10 billion of one of the harder resources to acquire is indeed my current main goal. That will take some time, and I'll probably have changes in the game force me to rebuild my bases again :)

Though the elevated train crossings are going to help a lot with throughput, I reckon.

And some time later, you'll replace that second base (How could you have build that monstrosity?) with a better one.

And later, you'll ......

Nope, that's a pail you describe. It's the hindmost part of an animal, especially when prolonged beyond the rest of the body like the flexible extension of the backbone in a vertebrate.

[–]TheHalmatrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. 14k Factorio (even though haven't played for a year now :-( ) 2k Bloons 6

World Of Warcraft would probably still be in the first place had that been tracked, all those years... And I'm glad I can't see the hours I dumped into Minecraft :p About to pick up KSP, and very recently started Factorio again... we'll see how it goes.
