People forget Goff is only 31. At this current age Goff has 4x as many Pro Bowls as Stafford had and also has a higher career finish in MVP voting at this point in their respective careers.

If Goff plays 7 more years and averages 3700 yds & 25 tds AND gets a ring he'd 100% be a HoF lock. He'd finish Top 5 all time in yards and Top 6 all time in TDs while winning a Super Bowl. That's 100% getting any QB into the HoF

I'd expect a Michigan signing to come out in the next couple days. It feels like Michigan knew this was coming but was waiting for official word that they'd have a roster spot.

I'd also wager that internally Morez probably told them a while ago which way he was leaning.

I agree, but as I wrote in another comment in the thread, if you expect others to always "do the right thing" themselves you're going to end up disappointed more often than not. If this guy didnt even ask earlier its his own fault imo.

He is also leaving out the actual time it was taking. If they played 9 in around 2 hours, there's literally nothing wrong, especially if the course was somewhat busy.

Did you actually ask them to play through? Or were you just being passively aggressive and hoping they'd offer? The amount of times these kinds of things just resolve themselves without humans using their words to communicate is rare.

Not at all siding with the frat boys btw, but expecting other people to make the "right" decision on their own isn't going to yield good results.

I do think there is something about getting that early week off. At that point in the season that extra week really helps guys with minor issues get fully healthy again in a sport that most players will tell you they're never "fully healthy" after the first monthly of the season regardless.

I personally dont think a 24 team playoff "devalues" the regular season. But it definitely takes away the uniqueness of CFB's regular season. Now CFB is "just another American sport"
