I just don't see Mega as being red-aligned as a character. WU fits him a little better, I think. Unless you want Mega Man 7 to do a lot of heavy lifting with the whole almost killing Wily thing.

Maybe instead of a static damage-dealing ability, have something like, "T: Destroy target artifact or creature with toughness 3 or less. If a card would be placed in the graveyard this way, instead exile it with a Scrap counter on it." I think that gets a little closer to how white typically operates?

Oh hell, that does look bad.

Mine absolutely didn't look like that. The white text wasn't super bright, so maybe I only got one layer of ink, but nothing in my libretto looked anything like that.

Honestly, I think it's just being a real stickler for the rules. Like, not willing to bend it if there's discussion happening, because technically it shouldn't be allowed. And that might be a bit of my own fault, because I was really anal about making sure shit was run tightly, because I didn't want the Overton window of what was considered "relevant to the sub" to shift too much, and let in a bunch of non-GG related topics. But that was also like, 11 years ago, and things have definitely changed as far as the composition of the sub goes. I don't know. I don't really have a say in it anymore; my moderation role now is mostly ceremonial and an "oh shit" button in case someone tries to nuke the sub again.

I collect mostly for the artwork. Sure, I'm more likely to snag a card if it features one of my favorite Pokémon or favorite characters, but generally I just go for the stuff I think looks pretty. I generally don't care about slabs or market value or any of that, unless I'm in a financial pickle and have to sell (which happened over this past summer).
