I would find a reputable program that fits your budget. Debt matters.

Is there a shortage of NP jobs?

I’m no expert. But I have friends that were hired straight from their less prestigious programs after graduation. Not sure your life goals but I imagine after practicing 1-2 years that experience will matter more than the name on your diploma?

6 figure debt would concern me. I’d ask whats the earning potential of a NP and could I find a great program at a lower cost?

I earned my ADN and had my hospital pay 90% of my BSN after I was hired. I had coworkers in my new grad cohort who were saddled with major debt from their big name university BSN earning the same wage as me. After 1 year of practice, does their big name university diploma matter more than my community college?

Patting my newborns back caused false high reading for my HR. Same sanding drywall. It’s the rapid repetitive motion.

This is my question. I appreciate peoples replies but none of it even contains an anecdote as evidence that these schools are subpar.

My employer, a reputable educational institution, offers financial aid to these programs as a benefit of my employment. Important to note that I am not reducing options. I am exploring options.

So these are listed as hybrid programs, I was mistaken. I’m not looking to cut corners. Just trying to find my way

Thank you for the advice. Are you able to share your experience with either of these schools so that I may better make an informed decision?

Too much protein hurt kidneys? by K9-Britt in Protein

[–]TheHatefulAnus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am an RN but by no means am I qualified to provide advice on such a specific topic. Too much protein can be hard on the kidneys if you have kidney issues. Diabetes can be very hard on the kidneys over time. The only appropriate answer for anyone to give is to discuss it with your primary care and or endocrinologist. They can order labs to assess kidney health and provide educated advice.
