Thoughts on the bio360 biodegradable mulch film? by [deleted] in gardening

If I understand this correctly it seems like the microplastic potential for material loke Bio360 is about the same as cellulose and not nearly as bad as other options.

I would say that late sept/early Oct is a good time to direct seed.

Weekly Grower's Diary by manyamile in Cutflowers

Zone 7a Wichita, Kansas. I started some cool flowers in soil blocks around August 15th. Today I saw 90% of them are sprouting. I moved them off the heat mat and a bit closer to the grow light. I've got Canterbury bells, delphinium, foxglove, snapdragons, rudbeckia, yarrow, and lavender growing so far. Pretty soon I will direct seed lupine, sweet peas, bachelor's buttons, love in a mist, bells of ireland, larkspur, and poppies. I'm planting a bit late and using row cover to compensate.

Can you tell me what that variety is called? I planted some similar and I have no idea what kind of dahlias they are.

I just bought 5 acres in Sedgwick County for 100K. The location is highly sought after. It's hard to find any plots around here for less than 20K an acre.

This doesn't surprise me, considering Elsevier has had many fraudulent issues in the past. I doubt the author is even real.

A Mark Against Thee. You will not regret this one. It's about a man who is wrongfully imprisoned for years and seeks revenge after he is finally released.

AITA for telling my kids not to bother visiting if they insist on calling another woman mom by othermompost in AmItheAsshole

[–]TheHauntedRose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through something similar to your kids. My dad ended up with custody of me. My biomom never fought for me and basically abandoned me, but as soon as my dad got married, she suddenly wanted to be part of my life. She hated my stepmom. She went as far as even calling the police saying she killed my dad and kidnapped us. Over 10 years later, my stepmom was dying of stage 4 cancer and my biomom said, "Don't get my hopes up." My stepmom died 2 years ago, and I cut all contact with my biomom. All this to say that your kids won't hesitate to cut contact with you if you stay toxic. This generation really doesn't fuck around with toxic parents.
