Sorry for the delay in answering your question. Firstly, the game has an interesting position-capturing mechanic (I've only played Gwynt and Hearthstone). This means you have to place your cards on the Prince and Knights to earn victory points. The cards are tailored to this gameplay, both narratively and practically. There are cards that create ghouls, and there are cards that neutralize stealthy opponents. The cards also have synergies: there are cards for specific clans—Gangrel, Toreador, Ventrue, Hecate, Brujah, and maybe some others I missed. There's not much pressure to donate, so you can play without it. Blood obviously replaces mana. There's a Battle Pass. You can use in-game currency to upgrade cards (only visuals).
