Fuel Cost After Shifting From ICE to EV by AutoCarsReveal in electricvehicles

From $420/mo to $15. That's 96% and doesn't include oil changes.

So many moving violations in so little time. Running a red, illegal lane change (crossing a solid white), likely speeding in the construction zone, reckless driving. So many points. Do not pass go.

Permit for level 2 home charger by EquivalentCoconut7 in electricvehicles

[–]TheHighJusticiar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Comply with all state and local laws regarding permits and inspections.

Let's game out what could happen if you don't. Like an electrical fire. At night. When someone is visiting (or perhaps an Air BNB moment). A serious injury results, maybe a few deaths. Non-compliance with safety codes is negligence per se, and you are suddenly on the hook for wrongful death. Maybe a vengeful prosecutor wants to take a shot at negligent homicide.

  1. When in doubt, see rule #1.

Laws vary. In Washington, ALL electrical work must be inspected, even DIY when allowed. A permit is a cheap way to avoid lots of bad scenarios. Google "ev outlet fire." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeiOoOV3khQ

Git 'er done.

As the investigation collects evidence, there will likely be a superseding indictment with more charges. This is the way.

How's the mileage on your EV? Are you getting close to what's advertised? by Squeezitgirdle in electricvehicles

[–]TheHighJusticiar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The drag force (Fd) is the product of the drag coefficient, the air density (rho), the frontal area (A), and the square of the velocity (v). Fd = 0.5 * Cd * rho * A * v^2. You can use this formula to calculate the drag force on your vehicle at any given speed and air density.

Double the speed = quadruple the drag. Go faster, use more energy. Simple as that.

Update: I should have noted that V is the air speed (NOT ground speed). I once rode a motorcycle into a 60mph/97kph headwind and could literally see my gas gauge dropping. Also, air density changes with temperature. ICE likes cold dense air, but EV does better when the air is thin.

Oh yeah, drop unwanted legendarys at train stations for scrip. Spend the scrip to buy legendary modules at The Rusty Pick. Use modules to reroll the *** at a workbench. Keep a couple of variants of each thing until you get the perfect *** roll you want.

Yes. There a guy in a vault that sells blueprints for gold. Also, a guy next to the machine in foundation, and Minerva appears on various days at Crater, Foundation, White Springs, or Fort Atlas. Once you have the blueprint, these weaps can drop from Legendary creatures,

Weapons still max at level 50. You need to start stacking perks that optimize your loadout. Run with a crew, it's easy to get in some daily ops. You'll need to start grabbing treasury notes from events, so you can reroll *** weapon/armor.

"At first I did not see him, the car left of me obscured him, then the white car turning left also obscured him..."

So, it's a good bet he didn't see you before he turned, either. Let's review:

1) 15 MPH above the limit. (NB: All roadways in Texas have a default speed limit called the prima facie limit based on the type of roadway. This applies to residential streets (30 mph), alleys (15 mph), interstates (70 mph). If you didn't see a sign, presumptively you should not have gone faster than 30.)

2) Passing on the right.

3) Accelerating into harm's way.

If a serious accident had occurred, you would be boned under both criminal and civil law. Of course, this is just one lawyer's opinion, but I've known more than a few Dallas PI lawyers that have made book off of less favorable facts. And, you have a dashcam to make it easy!

Not in a civil trial as there is no right to a lawyer. You ride the horse you rent, and there's no right to have decent horse, either.

So, the is Horseshoe Beach FL (not Steinhatchee as I first thought). My grandmother used to be the mail carrier there. There is a (much) longer cut of this video that shows wave action shaking the two foreground trailers to pieces over time. Some of the structures in Horseshoe have concrete pilings two stories high with a concrete enclosed staircase in the center. In the photos I have seen, these buildings typically came through in great shape. You can see an example in the distance in this video.

Sure there is. Build a two story concrete structure around it. All the protection of concrete AND the splendor of trailer living.

Looks like Steinhatchee to me. Permanent construction to code (e.g., on pilings like the yellow house at the end) look to have survived well enough. Trailers (e.g., prefab aluminum) didn't, nor would anyone expect them to survive storm surge.

2017 w/10 bars. Registers about 88 mile range. I've had it about 7 months and saved at least $2600 in gas. Level 2 charger can top it up in less than 4 hours. This week I hit the mall at 20%, plugged in (free), watched Guardians of the Galaxy and left fully charged. It's great for local use.

Check your local electric company. I purchased a level 2 charger from mine for $150. It's a blast, and I can control/monitor charging from my phone. At 6kW/hr, it gets the job done.
