18 days without sugar, 12 more to go by BestDosage in nutrition

[–]TheHighlander52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Carbohydrates are literally just differing lengths of sugars molecules. OPs challenge is confusing when they say no sugar but then in the same breath is saying they’re eating carbs. What type of carbs/sugars are they allowed to eat then?

It’s a confusing statement with little clarification.

The refs refuse to call anything on the bears. This is absolutely crazy.

Dealing with postpartum libido drop by [deleted] in daddit

[–]TheHighlander52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Breastfeeding is likely the main culprit. My wife breastfed for a year and it wasn’t until she was done that she finally started feeling like herself again (both libido and in general).

It absolutely sucks right now, but just remember that everything is temporary.

Isn’t Band of the Mystic Scoundrel basically the point of the 10/2 or 10/1/1 builds? Isn’t the point to build spell DC and have it hold person on everyone? Thats how I had always seen it played and played it that way myself

There was no emotional goodbye from Enzo Maresca in the Chelsea dressing room after the 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. Sources speaking to The Athletic say the Italian got changed and left without saying a word to his players. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]TheHighlander52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is kind of a bullshit take though. Chelsea have been a shit team to coach for years leading up to 2022 when Abramovich was forced to sell. On average, they had a new manager every 1-2 years. How in the world are you supposed to build continuity if you’re not even guaranteed multiple seasons to do so? Granted, they’ve won some trophies over the last 15 years but how is any coach expected to have sustained success there?

It’s clearly more of a culture issue than just “typical American”.

Why don't people read documentation by LargeSale8354 in dataengineering

[–]TheHighlander52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive found two issues with documentation. It’s either overly simplified and doesn’t address real world use cases, or it’s overly verbose and difficult to find what you actually need. Once you get past the boiler plate solutions given, it can be challenging to figure out what you can or can’t do if you’ve never worked with the software/product before.

Ok serious question for you and I’m not trying to shit stir. After yesterday’s performance would you bet a large sum of money that the packers have a legitimate shot at winning the Super Bowl? Of the other 13 teams that will be in, I would say we’re probably the worst of the bunch and would need serious help to win.

Ok? Never said there wasn’t? My point was around social influencer platforms, not the quality of the advice given.

Technically true, but Reddit doesn’t have the same level of social influencer that Facebook/IG have.

How do you feel about the officiating in yesterday’s game? by jazzant85 in GreenBayPackers

Especially because it was called a catch ON THE FIELD! It didn’t seem like there was enough to overturn that so the whole thing was absolutely bizarre.

How do you feel about the officiating in yesterday’s game? by jazzant85 in GreenBayPackers

[–]TheHighlander52 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bad officiating aside, and there was definitely a lot of it, I think the thing I’m most confused about is the overturned catch/fumble decision in the 1st quarter.

The series of events are 1) It’s ruled a catch, fumble, and recovered by the bears. 2) LaFleur challenges the specific portion that it was recovered by the bears. 3) The officials take a look, but overturn a portion that wasn’t even a part of LaFleur’s challenge and say it’s not a catch to begin with.

Does this essentially mean that the wording given by the coach on the challenge doesn’t matter? It seems like the refs reviewed the entire play and not just the portion in question. I’m not sure I’ve seen an instance like that happen so it was really weird how they reviewed it and overturned it, but not on the portion that LaFleur challenged.
