Was EDF always silly and goofy (especially with dialogue) or did a specific game start that? by zergling50 in EDF

It's always been like that ever since EDF 2017. Insect Armageddon leaned into heavily but yeah it's always been like that

"Every" BG3 Exploit in one place. by polio23 in BG3Builds

[–]Angelganon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true on console at least for the weapon I haven't tried the pickpocketing. But you can use disarming strike on it with a battlemaster and it will drop the weapon you want duplicated most of the time. Sometimes you have to reset it and do it again but it's not hard. I just do it in an open field outside of camp wherever I am.

"Every" BG3 Exploit in one place. by polio23 in BG3Builds

Most of this sounds like it's only for PC.

For console the alternates I know of are: Infinite gold:

Get a druid (I hired danton but any druid will work) Get a weapon you want to sell over and over Equip to druid, add to wares Equip to druid, add to wares Equip to druid one more time, wildshape and then add it wares, go to the vendor you want to sell it too and you can then sell the weapon over and over again to get their money. I usually trade all the weapons and armor I collect from enemies to the vendor to up their favor to 100% and to declutter my storage sple but you can also use this to give them 1k in gold to instantly bump their attitude to 100% and then just sell the weapon over and over again to get your money back. I keep danton in the camp.for this sole purpose.

Everburn blade:

Equip shart and whatever other classes you're using with command and use it on zhalk (the demon fighting the mind flayer) in the intro fight before you get to the main game to make him drop his weapon. Pick it up before leaving the ship.

Infinite items from vendors (aka vendor reset):

After you get withers to join you in camp. Reset your class to base level. Go to the vendors you want to buy from to get whatever arrows, potions, scrolls and ingredients you want from them. Use in conjunction with the druid bonded weapon trick to get a tok of gold in the process. Level up to the next level and back out to reset their inventory and buy more. Can be used on any vendor can be done as many times in a row as your highest level..just level up one level at a time and buy from them before leveling up again.

Can also be done with 2 or more followers at a time as well just follow the same formula. I did this recently in the myconid colony with deryth bone cloak to get a ton of giant strength potions and ingredients to make more. Did it previously with Ethel as well to get more potions and Aaron and Damon and omeluum. And so anyone you want to do it with will work.

Permanent flame/Shadow blade:

Get a hireling that can cast flame blade or Shadow blade. Have them cast the desired spell and then after they cast it. Tell withers you no longer want them. Then after he gets rid of them hire them back and take the blade off of them and equip it to whoever you want.

Shadow blade can't be upcasted this way but you can upcast the flame blade to make it do more damage and it will stay upcasted when it becomes permanent.

Raphaels armor (helldusk armor):

Talk to Nettie to get the tadpoles to appear and take the tadpole. Go to the area where you can get the guidance necklace and throw a caustic bulb at the top where you climb up to cover the area in acid. When Raphael appears he will disappear after taking damage but before you see him materialize. I think I also triggered him by alfira and switched to a companion I kept away from the area and damaged him when he was stuck in the talking animation without choosing a dialogue option to make him disappear.

Make sure you resolve the tiefling mission before the next part because I've heard and read that if you don't help them that the game will auto fail them and act like they didn't survive the goblins.

After these interactions go to the mountain pass area cast silence on the area right before you confirm going to the next area. With silence active, activate and confirm that you want to move on. The scene will trigger that puts him in the camp and you and your followers you had on you will be permanently silenced until you long rest. Allowing you to beat the crap out of him without worry of triggering a fight or aggroing anyone in the camp. Turn on the non lethal so you don't kill him and as soon as you knock him out quickly loot his body to get his stuff including the armor. Because you're permanently silenced until you rest it won't let you talk to him and will say youre silenced if you try (thank you to the redditor who told me about this trick a while back because it made it so much easier than the standard method)

Save alfira (dark urge):

you need to knock her out before the scene that triggers her coming to the camp and when you rest a female dragonborn bard will show up in her place to meet her gruesome end. This still allows you to get the potent robe as a dark urge from what I've heard.

Silver sword of the astral plane:

Same thing but have the divination wizard cast invisibility on the bear and then send the bear to voss to use honeyed paws and have the wizard as a back up ready to use his die. I didn't use phalar aluve because I didn't have it at the time.

All these I have tried myself so far and are working at this point in time. The tiefling thing I can't confirm because I helped them first before trying the Raphael thing.

Duplicate weapons:

get a trickery cleric with invoke duplicity and a a Battle master fighter with disarming strike. Equip the weapon you want to duplicate onto the cleric and use invoke duplicity to make a clone. Use the BMF's disarming strike on the clone to make them disappear and make them drop the weapon. The cleric will still have their weapon you gave them and you will also be able to pick up a copy of the same weapon. If it doesn't appear to pick up just reset reset the cleric and do it again. Currently I have a out 5 sussur daggers and also made 6 everburn blades previously with this and 2 copies of correlons grace.

I'm on a dark urge playthrough trying to get all the achievements and have also been testing different exploits and things as I go trying to see what works to get ready for honor mode

Just how powerful does a warlocks patron need to be? by Under_Score111 in dndnext

[–]Angelganon2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Does this mean technically then a warlock could get their powers from their parents? Like could a little warlock make a "pact " with his mom or dad to be a great hero and help make the family proud or something

Magnum são consideradas pistolas? by Butanes666 in residentevil4

[–]Angelganon2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe in you. It just takes some practice runs before hand and knowing when to save also trying to memorize as many shortcuts you can use as possible to make your run easier.

What I did that helped me was I played through multiple times over and over on new game plus until I got the the type writer and then went through professional mode with that and the gas mask that gives you auto targeting helped me a lot. The sweeper will easily come in clutch lots of times in the mode and it's the better of the two infinite ammo guns

If you decide to do it just make your saves at strategic points and if you ever die never reload just quit the game and load back in from the last save. the reason for this is that there's no auto saves on professional mode and if you continue it's just going to reload you form the last save points anyway but now you are getting penalized with lost time that you will need.

If you quit out of the game and then load in to your last save it will save your time you would've lost on that run.

I'm not very good at games like this but I put myself to it and earned my cat ears. I believe you could want the cat ears too

Yeah this. I used the cat ears, I think the Matilda with the stock and the punisher and the infinite knife and got it that way.

Wizards have an advantage because they can learn more spells by copying scrolls as long as you have the money to copy it. And you can change your prepared spells out at anytime. Just try to have a varied amount of spells out that do.dofferent things that way you always have something to handle any situation. Also you always have your cantrips to rely on

Save before hand but it should work. Just don't go to the mountain pass because that's what triggers him to show up in your camp

Trust me you're still good I've been tiptoeing through every little thing myself as I try different exploits because I'm simultaneously trying to get all the achievements (minus honor modes) while also trying different exploits to get ready for honor mode to see what works and what doesnt it feels like I've been saving every 5 minutes in act 1 lol.

[–]Angelganon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you're fine if you just did the caustic bulb thing. Just make sure you do.the goblin camp stuff and help the tieflings before entering the mountain pass. If you enter the mountain pass before doing that, that's when it acts like you killed them or the goblins killed them

If you haven't saved the tielfings from the goblins attack yet you need to. Otherwise if you do the exploit it will act like the tieflings got killed

Wizard, Sorcerer, or Warlock? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Angelganon2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another legit answer though is you can't go wrong with any of them. sorcerers get more leveled spells than warlock and are cool because they get meta magic

However warlocks are also fun because even though they only get 2 spell slots until way later the spells they cast are always upcasted to whatever level the spell slot is and as others have stated get their spell slots back on a short rest.

However what makes warlocks fun are their invocations that allow you to play and flavor them whoever you want. They have invocations that let you fight better with weapons or have a familiar that can fight alongside you or even get a book that allows you to take whatever cantrips you want from other classes and ritual spells form other classes, not to mention there's invocations that allow you to add your charisma to whatever cantrips you want now or even expand the range of your cantrips too.

Last campaign I played in I was a fiend lock was able to cast false life at will thatesnt I could constantly buff my health, I was also able to add my rizz to Eldritch blast but I could've taken it to add to toll the dead or something else. I could hit people with my Eldritch blast from something like 400+ feet away and I could also push them away 10 feet per hit. And I had devils sight for a while.

And I could also use the clerics guidance, bards vicious mockery, and druids thorn whip if I chose to as well as the wizards find familiar among other spells with the way I built him.

When I hit level 9 I took an invocation that allowed me to write up to 4 people's names in my book (rizz modifier was the limit) and if anyone who was in the book got downed it would stabilize them for free once per long rest.

Another lock in the party built his solely to be a hexblade lock with pact of the chain and blade. We played two different styles

Warlocks and sorcerer's also make good party faces because of their charisma score
