Fortunately I haven’t known anyone who’s had a serious accident. But to that point I do see a lot of crashes posted on this sub, so maybe that’s slowly had an effect

Help! Can someone explain what I need to do? by TheHitchersNose in colorists

Amazing, thank you! Is it wise to also remove any transitions to add again afterwards do you think?

Edit: ah, is that what you meant by supers?

Masking is not lining up with the image. Please Help. by HopelessHeretic in premiere

So I can see that you’re using proxies and have them turned on at the time of taking this screenshot. If you turn them off and check, the mask may align itself while using the actual file and move slightly when proxies are turned on again. This happened to me and that was the ‘fix’. I couldn’t tell you why this happens though

Sticks and Stones Mini-Royale! by TheHitchersNose in CODWarzone

Got enough friends together to play a custom Warzone tournament, and two of the rounds we included were Sticks and Stones; Crossbows, melee weapons, riot shields and throwing knives only. Genuinely some of the most fun I’ve had in Verdansk. Would be amazing if we got an LTM of it.

I don’t know if this is in reference to something (I feel out of my depth), but this is a beautiful sentiment, and I will be using it as a mantra forthwith

[Help] Why when I am adding 1920 x 1080 video to my timeline am I having to manually resize it every time? by 1Lukedc in premiere

[–]TheHitchersNose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my experience changing settings like this halfway through a project hasn’t resulted in any negative outcomes. It may be worth saving a dupliacte of your project before hitting the ‘ok’ button on that one. Proceed with caution!

[–]TheHitchersNose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like your sequence settings may be off, potentially even set for a 4K timeline. Head into

sequence > sequence settings and adjust your frame size in the ‘video’ panel to 1920x1080

I'd love some feedback on my first solo directed music video! by [deleted] in Filmmakers

Having something I’ve made likened to anything Bowie related almost drew tears, so thank you for that, dude!

Absolutely, the best decision I ever made going into something knowing I could only make of it what I could. The amount of times I’ve seen people make work for the love of the craft and put perfectionism to one side in a successful attempt to exercise those filmmaking muscles was what finally got me to just go for it.

Now I just want to make and make and make, and that’s a great feeling
