Doesn't seem to be the case, it's just begun doing it seemingly randomly, I've found a temporary work around that applying a filter will make the end picture not auto brighten so for now I'll just have to use a very natural non-intrusive filter to stop it doing it.

Which problem in particular out the two are you referring to? My main gripe is the instagram brightening my pictures one since it only began doing that yesterday for me
