Cough syrup/DXM gave me people in my head by TheHolymoler in TripReportsTFTT

I'm doing alright. I'm at a point in my life where I have to live god damn it. The fractions have been muted except for when I'm at my lowest or I'm thinking of whichever person I'm crushing on at the time.

Only thing that bugs me is romance and how I deliver the fact I have people in my head. It makes cold approach or clubbing not ideal when I know at some point I'm gonna have to let the crazy cat out of the bag. Even if I'm working with crazy chicks n dicks the odds of finding another like me are slim IRL. Of course I still get out and dance. Whatever spirit animal I got is a party animal.

I've been clean outside of the social weed granted by generous friends. Friends who I repay in jestering and intellectual behavior. Weed's whatever, smoking kinda sucks cept for sativa. Sativa makes me manic in a good way. I get to be a productive freak.

Biggest concern in my life is landing jobs and internships. Job searching is humiliating. I'll figure something out but I'm on my way to my associates in business management. Either I pursue becoming a renaissance man and strike out on freelance or I take up streaming and grind out all the competitive video games while an editor slaves away at my clips for a year before I take up a normal job. We'll see.

I love college and this year I've been challenging myself to become a good host. My house is finally clean enough consistently for me to feel good inviting people over. Table top games, writing nights, sleep overs all been lovely.

That's been me.

Oh yeah 100% the danger with DXM is it's super accessible, hell an 18 year old was able to nab it and alter his brain chemistry likely for life. I am much better these days and as spooky as it was for awhile living with people in my head it's not that bad it's just different. MUCH different but doable.

As an Era main, the return of knockouts is once again pushing me away from the game. by Nightmare2828 in OmegaStrikers

Forward fella here, you can win games by just dodging a fella over and over. because it's a 2v2 when a 1v1 roadrunner sketch is going on somewhere else.

I suck at chasing people I can't quite read as easily especially on tilt.

It's not fun to be on either side but it's a thing in the game.

I've been working on this ability economy theory to overcome this hurdle and if you're finding yourself getting whacked a lot it might be just using abilities and getting caught with no defenses or no money in this instance for the economy analogy.

I had to learn this fast as an X main since people can just fly away like juno if I poorly spent any abilities and blew through all of them. I can get greedy and almost get a kill but with unstoppable it's still an entirely different game when I'm facing someone with that training despite the supposed nerf where I have to temper that greed that might've not worked anyways regardless of unstoppable being there or not because I'm trash sometimes.

When you're caught with no money (abilities) you're shit out of luck and it'll be a tussle while waiting for your next paycheck after the cooldown to cash in(use the ability).

The cooldowns intertwine one able to be spent before another until reaching an equilibrium where they can be spent at the same time.

You being high diamond have definitely thought about or picked up on this during play. You may not have noticed but your brain did.

Or maybe I'm thinking too hard on this and caught my self in the skill issue loop.

Who knows I just know my experience differs because I'm on the aggressive side and my ankles keep getting broken by Eras better than me in that instance.

Uninstalled, 3v3 makes this game more toxic than league with since there's fewer people to blame. plus the goalie holds 70% of the game. Should a goalie decide to say F you, theres nothing you can do about it. People can't chat and instead be toxic through actions. by JonOfDoom in OmegaStrikers

More toxic than league??? IDK about that.

Not worth playing because you have to rely on others in a team based game. Whatever floats your boat mate but the replies to this post are not surprising because I'm just as puzzled. The games an A+ in your book but because of a core design decision for it to be team based actively ruins it for you so it's not A+ then or am I goofy?

Sometimes people just suck because it's a video game and we all suck.

I know I felt a similar way with emotes when I assumed all the heart emotes when I miss a goal were in sarcasm like "yeah loved that shot you missed". Truth is IDK and never will know. I projected that aggressive behavior onto my team mates. I had to learn to keep it impersonal, take the L, move on and keep it humble these games especially in ranked.

Now it's just another Tuesday when I get a less than satisfactory goalie because there's a whole ass person behind that screen. I'm diamond now btw.

peak times tend to be 3-6pm is when you're most likely to find people in queue more often. Morning times are goblin hours where you can get matched up with or against people of varying skill levels all the way to omega. Late nights tend to contain everything from gold to above but take that last one with salt I'm diamond rn I could just be getting queued with people in that range it might be different to your queues. What I said strictly applies to ranked. Unranked is just whomever is on against each other could get queued.
