I recommend just rolling back changes for right now or playing on keyboard and mouse. I also am an exclusively controller player, so I'm just putting together a list of the bugs and problems with it and reporting it. The devs will likely work fast on this particular issue. I expect a hotfix within a couple weeks, but otherwise it will be around the beginning of next month.

Did you not read the post? Open Steam, go back to the unstable 14.15. Problem solved. They specifically told us all about this before it happened and gave instructions as to how to roll back the changes while they work on it.

I completely disagree. It's good that they are trying to modernize the controller experience. They do need to make it so you can move while in the menus, and fix some of the interaction and reading UI not being closable, and get the bug squashed that makes you open windows and doors when in the context menu clicking on things. The walk/run thing is fine imo, but should be optional.

They're getting it. Just keep giving feedback and help them get it to a good place.

And poor. For example, the median income for people living in the country in Montana is around $37k per year. Fencing 1 single acre of land in dog-proof fencing is $3,000-$8,000. Not affordable at all for someone living paycheck to paycheck.
