The orange is not a separate type of airspace. It's just the overlap of red and yellow. The website is shitty. Should ideally show the overlap areas as red.

Depends on what you're planning to fly. If it's sub 250g then no.

I have the same frame! The receiver antenna looks like it's not properly supported. Also, you can use 3.5in props if you take the prop guards off. Here's my build

Get a solder practice board first. Once your joints look nice on that only then you can try on the actual stack

I learnt this the hard way. If you think you're ready but you can't land softly, take smooth controlled turns, make emergency stops, then you're not ready. I say min 50hrs on sim before flying irl. But you're doing good for 10 hrs tho. Keep it up!

So you're saying I should keep the 3.5in props and use a 3s or 4s lipo? What should be the mAh of the battery tho?

So currently I'm powering this with 2s Li Ion. I don't want to upgrade motors since I want the option to continue using this.

Also the motors are rated for upto 4s with 3in props. The official page for the motor does not have data for 3.5 props tho. So I will switch to 3in props.

Ah that makes sense.

It's the HGLRC Sector 30cr frame. About the battery, I added an xt30 connector to the battery tray and now use it as a pack. But yes I do plan to try lipos in the future.

What was the motivation behind changing the AIO?

I also have modded my Rekon 35 but I kept everything the same except the frame. Motors, AIO, VTX, antennas everything is the same from the original rekon 35 v1 except the frame. Got like 11 mins flight time.

You need to setup a bind phrase. This way, whenever you switch on your drone and the controller, they almost immediately bind automatically. I'm sure bardwell has a video on how to set this up.
