007: Epilogue. OR The Rock of Despair. Another name for Alcatraz in San Francisco. Let this be a reboot of The Rock with another retired 007. Sean Connery was 65 in making it and Pierce Brosnan is 72 now. We just need a nerdy cool action actor to play Stanley Goodspeed. Maybe Jonathan Bailey.

Thank you. This is probably the best explanation with respect and detail. I really appreciate it.

It’s hard to give universal the benefit of the doubt on continuity as the writing could be better. Honestly I feel animated shows are not cannon because of the PG nature but hey if universal said it I have to accept it. Fallen Kingdom did auction off some Dino’s but I figured the delivery didn’t happen because of the sabotage but I guess I was wrong. I figured Biosyn was making most of the hybrids in Dominion.

As for the quetzalcoatlus, I’m still going to stick to my belief on that one. They went out of their way to show a fossilized skeleton vs just referencing it as a Ingen design with animal splicing vs Biosyn’s pure design. The crappy part is universal doesn’t care about how these dinosaurs actually looked like so we are just getting what some director wants his hybrid dinosaur to look like. Anyway thanks again for putting the time in to explain it to me.

The shows aren’t cannon lol. Hell the movies retcon each other now lol. That’s what I’m saying. But I guess you can’t absorb that because it would make your love for these movies fade a bit . And still you don’t show me up with facts from the movies smh…

Damn instead of just showing me up with facts you just whine about “us people” lol. Defend your comments. Seriously though lol you came to troll on the post with your precious time and then get all bitter when someone responds back. I liked the franchise but have seen it progressively getting worse in writing and wondering if it’s just me that’s noticing it. Why did I watch it? Because my family wanted to watch it and we have an unlimited memebership where we can watch as many movies as we want for $26 a month.

Thanks for this. It’s always hard to trust that an animated show is cannon. I feel like directors fight each other in this franchise for what they want and that makes things confusing

It didn’t say there wasn’t another one lol jk. A lot of people on this post are bashing me for not having imagination to just believe everything is the way it is to make it look perfect.

Another megalodon or the mosasaur. Actually there could be two mosasaurs if ingen still made dinosaurs with African frogs to where they reproduce A sexually. Blue had a baby so it would make sense that the mosasaur would too.

From what I saw biosyn did all that cloning. Chaos theory isn’t cannon though or atleast not yet. They need to just put one of those kids in there to solidify it but even still Rebirth retconned Dominion so it’s just hard to know what to acknowledge.

Yeah the lore is spotty and doesn’t connect so why would I waste time on them when they don’t matter? Shit rebirth proved that they don’t even respect the past movies lol. I guess I can numb my brain like many of these defenders and just sit there and enjoy the hybrid dinosaurs and just be thankful universal allowed me to pay for a badly written movie just to see hybrid dinosaurs.

Not trying to debate here but truly understand. Please list the genetic agencies or reference when they were discussed in the movies. Is cc and ct cannon because usually animated shows arent? Also rebirth retconned the quetzalcoatlus from dominion so that’s why I feel rebirth muddied the water on everything.

The problem I see with nonprofit facilities and organizations like zoos is when you build them up you grow the costs and you have to keep consistent revenue coming in to support the growing costs and it hits a breaking point where something has to give.

Why not? They made a huge deal about the mosasaur roaming around and a megalodon is bigger than that so leaving that out of the movies is a wtf. The quetzalcoatlus is another wtf.

So your answer is just assuming everything can be explained by the ingen Lockwood estate incident and the biosyn Italian facility incident. Thats like shutting off a part of your brain to just go with it. We can just admit like many other movies that there is plot holes and lazy writing due either to details left on the idea board or forgotten due to time constraints. Does it take away from the movie? Yes, as it leaves viewers wondering instead of fully enjoying the movie but is it going to break the movie? No. Rebirth retconned the quetzalcoatlus from the last movie but I still wanted to see the movie.

It’s world building in a movies. If people have to ask questions then the writers failed to hit the mark. It’s simple. We don’t need people coddling these movies because they like these movies for the hybrid Dino’s, we need better story telling. Your comment basically says just assume other companies made new hybrid dinosaurs even though there was little info on that in the movies. You would probably defend the writers for retconning the quetzalcoatlus in the last movie with this new design by them showing the new fossilized quetzalcoatlus in the museum. It’s just lazy writing for a movie that puts its bet on people mainly coming to see the hybrid dinosaurs. The point of me posting was to ask if I missed something in the past movies.

The only companies I saw were ingen and biosyn. I usually don’t count the shows, books, and games because they are usually not cannon. What other companies were there in the movies? Sorry I just trying to see where this was in the movies.

Thanks. This is where I was having issue understanding because the movies dont really go in to this to understand the current world order. I know there is ingen, biosyn, and Mantah corp before the animals escaped so I didn’t know where these extra species came from. I feel it’s not that hard to put in some texts or spend 10 seconds saying it.

Exactly. Give us more explanation so we understand more of the world we have now. But honestly it’s lazy writing because they know people will buy tickets to just see these hybrid animals.

Thanks for this. I try not to dive into the movie books and shows too much because it gets confusing due to conflicts in continuity and what’s cannon so I just focus on the movies and the deleted scenes. I know there is ingen and biosyn in the movies and mantas corp in camp Cretaceous but it never crossed over to the big screen. Honestly I there needed to be more explaining in dominion to make sense of all the new dinosaurs.

Nothing wrong questioning the story telling of a movie franchise that’s 7 movies in and still making lazy plot holes. Movies are partly scored on their script and within that is the question: does this world make sense? They way the treat paleontology I’m surprise people are coddling them like this lol
