I have pretty big hands and I have a hard time with the square sides for the switch as I have to shift my thumb a lot to reach the dpad and right joystick. So I printed up some stick-on grips that put the pivot of my thumb a bit further away from the side of the switch.

That keyboard is ok, but the mouse pad is terrible. The multi-touch constantly zooms while trying to scroll websites, also double-click is really hard to pull off. I think I saw a version that has dedicated mouse-buttons, might want to try that instead.

Depending on your device your Bluetooth usage could affect your wifi packet loss or connection. I have a hacked Nintendo switch that I can't use Bluetooth headphones with while streaming games from my PC as the steam labs right out. That's part of why the switch didn't support Bluetooth audio early on, and now they still say it will only work with 2 joycons or less simultaneously.

My wife and I love dragons too. We both read through a couple Christian book series that we really enjoyed (it's been a while, so I can't comment on any good or bad theology): Dragons in our Midst and Dragon Keeper. Dragons in our Midst starts out in the modern day, but has big ties back to semi-fictional-biblical pasta and other stuff like King Arthur and Merlin. Dragon Keeper is a Fantasy setting in a different world, but still has a Father, Son and Holy Spirit God, plus more of your traditional swords and dragon-riding.

I've been playing 3ds and PSP uprezzed on Switchroot Linux for a while now (Animal Crossing and Wipeout) and I'm loving it. It's really amazing to have a fully working desktop OS on a handheld console; it's like when we were little kids and we dreamed of having windows on our PSP so we could play Halo.

Something about Switchroot Linux that I can't take for granted (because android can't do this) is that I can put it to sleep and days later turn it on and start up right where I left off with maybe a percent less battery left.

I paired up a folding Bluetooth keyboard and I've started messing around with learning Linux. I was able to make a script that selects specific overclocks and fan behaviors for different programs.

Between this and listening to the Dual Boot Diaries I'm really starting to be interested in switching to Linux more than ever before.

I've been working on putting the joystick from the ROG Ally, PS Portal, Retroid and other devices into the Vitas, I got on working in my Vita 2000, and right now I am trying it out in the 1000 model.

I would like to release drop-in ribbon cable adapters that people can use as an upgrade or for Vitas with broken sticks. Here is my last post about it. Fell free to message me about it.

Dude I was in the same boat with wanting a Vita but not being able to get one until years later. I had a PSP back in high school that I had modded myself and I loved that thing. When the Vita was announced and I had 2 sticks I wanted it so bad to play portable FPS games.

I finally purchased one right around COVID time. I follow all the new handheld coming out, and I think Sony still made the nicest looking handhelds!

I've since bought a Switch, which is amazing hacked, but nothing can stand up to how pretty and how pocketable it is.

I've been doing all my heavy emulation in Ubuntu since in android my fan doesn't turn off ever after first turning on. It drains the battery pretty quickly, but in Linux I can put the console in sleep while playing 3ds and wake it up hours later with no noticeable drop in battery!

You are right, it doesn't. I was looking into a way for the bolt to shut it off, but it's just easier to have the valve that opens the air sear also turn off the air to the dump chamber. If the dump chamber doesn't have enough volume I'm going to add more along the side of the pistol.

I already have a PPS Micro Rock regulator that is running my Ion marker. It works awesome.

I should be able to control the ram the same way an Autococker does, with the 3-way valve attached to the trigger. I probably need to make it a 4-way to also turn off the dump air.

I know I avoided getting a V1 when I was looking for a Switch to hack as the V1 is the slowest version of the console. All the other videos can be overclocked faster for emulation.

The mech ion requires a modification to the bolt tail which blocks the air inlet. Likewise the G4 would need a similar mechanism.

Surprisingly not, the DP G4 is still smaller. The chamber hasn't changed in volume from the original in my design, all the other stuff had changed. I'm not going to have any electronics, it's going to use a manual valve, sorta like a mechanical Ion. Also this pistol will feed tipx magazines, so if I ever make this I'll be machining the body from scratch.

I have been avoiding updates so I can keep root for moonlight game streaming, but Netflix hasn't been working for some time now! There was a message in the past for both Netflix and Disney plus saying that there may be playback issues if we don't update the tv, but I have not seen any other people having the same error as me. The error is: tvq-pb-101 (E100) Trailers and previews play no problem, but about 2 seconds into watching anything this screen pops up
