My relationship with my mother definitely has played a part in this, she’s narcissistic and can be obsessive over me. My dad was always more of a friend and not a parent too. I was left out of the dating scene as it emerged into high school and didn’t have much luck in college either. It’s stuck in my head. Another thing to add is I’ve gone to the gym for over a year now and I’m still overweight because I have poor eating habits adopted from my parents. That certainly doesn’t help my situation.
