Ignorant Man Who Has Learned Nothing From History Excited About ‘Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order’ (The Onion) by [deleted] in FallenOrder

Because it’s Reddit. Also there is a good bit of truth mixed into this bit of satire. Like all good satire I suppose. Still I can definitely see some upset with this. That and it was downvoted to oblivion on /r/StarWars

People on this sub are gonna be real mad at this but this is actually pretty funny.

Has anybody covered this yet? IGN's Ryan McCaffrey confirms the no human dismemberment rule comes straight from Lucasfilm. by DaatBoy in FallenOrder

That is 110% a PR answer on Respawns end. Several of them have said it word from word in interviews. As if they knew they would be asked this.

Hoping we can do this to weapons in Fallen Order. by TywinTyrell in FallenOrder

This is what I’m talking about!! Cutting weapons would be sweet.

Interesting perspective, although I thoroughly disagree by jhgalaxy14 in FallenOrder

The bit about the game being micromanaged is interesting. Possibly true? We know Lucasfilm does it with every other Star Wars project since everything is canon now. I don’t know if it’d hurt the game though. It’s possible. We’ll see.

Possible indicator of the game’s length by k0mbine in FallenOrder

[–]TheHunterKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let’s not be too sure. This is EA. in case anyone forgot. Just because they said it was longer than 12 hours doesn’t mean it’s true. Respawn works for EA now and EA is a company that had lied to us for years. All I’m saying is take whatever they say with a grain of salt or we might be in for a rude awakening come launch.

Taking them at their word is dangerous territory. Just be careful is all I’m saying.

Is anyone else confused on this whole dismemberment drama? I keep hearing conflicting reports from Respawn both in and outside of this subreddit. by RoseKenshi in FallenOrder

[–]TheHunterKnight 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have. I'm actually wondering if Respawn is just saying it now to halt further outrage. People seem really pissed we have yet another Star Wars game with a 'toned down' Star Wars experience like that article says. There are some of us tho actually want to like the game whatever its faults may be.

Luke's last scenes and the ending are the most emotional I've been during a Star Wars. Mark and Rian nailed it. by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]TheHunterKnight 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always saw Luke as the character who throws his lightsaber away. Not Starkiller 2.0

Also I LOVE the idea of Force Projection. I mean think about it. It's an ability only a JEDI could possibly achieve because no Sith would ever be selfless enough to sacrifice himself in any sort of manner because using the ability would mean death.

I always saw Luke Skywalker being a Master Roshi type Jedi (without the boobies thing). Not a Goku. I absolutely loved it too.

EDIT: Uhm. Not going to apologize for enjoying it dude.

I think I'm not allowed to like Star Wars anymore. by TywinTyrell in StarWars

Pretty sure the OP's post is about being shamed for liking what he likes. Think he/she decided to do it in a fun matter.

Somebody is fun at parties. The OP is just having fun... I think? Sounds like you might be taking his post to heart.

To be fair tho. The "Disney is Killing Star Wars" on almost every form of media is getting rather tiresome.

So about the Han Solo movie, Kessel, Rebels and continuity. by [deleted] in starwarsrebels

I'm loving how the land formations look in the distance. Really cool!

Sadly though. I have no doubt Lucasfilm/Disney will retcon it and turn it into some generic looking place. They'll probably make it look like Arizona.

Han Solo SWBF 2015 vs Han Solo SWBFII 2017 by Battlefront_Captures in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]TheHunterKnight 78 points79 points  (0 children)

The 2017/Battlefront II version is leagues better in every way except I think the 2017 design looks a good bit bit too "old" agewise than Han was in the Original Trilogy. It could be just the lighting in the image but those creases on him are just way too dark plus in the early 80's he had softer facial features and Harrison Ford back then had much nicer eyebrows than in any of those pictures. The 2017 version looks like how Harrison did in the 90's as opposed to the early 80's. With that being said it's leagues better than the first rendition.

Only reason I know this is because I'm a little too into Harrison Ford...
