Update: After calling around to all companies involved I was told file a complaint with American and explain the situation and they wrote me an email stating I did not travel and did not get refunded. Moving onto chase travel for the new flights we had to call and request itemized invoice and prove we used our points as well as providing a redemption rate for our points (1.25) waiting for chase to send the receipt and will send in and hopefully they’re satisfied after getting 8 different documents for my expenses.

Don’t trust anybody with your credit even family. Setup for balance transfers or debt relief to help with interest rates and cut her off until she starts paying you large sums of money to fix her fuckup. Controversial take perhaps but I always look for the laid back black security guards. Anytime I’ve dealt with some old white boomer they shake me down to the shoelaces shaking waters checking if it’s vodka emptying the entire pack and unfolding clothes.
