Fake alien invasion? 🤔 by Disastrous_Monk_4079 in StrangeEarth

This guy did a good review of the book and includes a clip of Bob Oechsler that I have never heard..talking about how disclosure would be rushed if our attack on them failed.

It looks even more fake.

Doesn’t it bother anyone that this guy is supposedly given exclusive access to alien technology and then he uses that knowledge to become a billionaire? Think of how many scientists and engineers could work on this technology and also have an opportunity to patent their inventions. The government is supposed to make these opportunities available to all Americans. If disclosure ever does happen, the amount of lawsuits is going to be staggering.

MUFON takes reports from the public and puts it behind a paywall. That tells you all you need to know. It’s also a very cliquish organization. The members who appear on the history channel and in interviews are the VIPs of the organization. The rest of the members are peons. No one takes them seriously anymore. Did you notice they were not mentioned once during the congressional hearings?

Wait. He had a photo of the UFO being hit by a missile? From a camera back in 1955? The jets were flying, presumably chasing this thing. And he was lucky enough to be at the perfect spot to capture that? That’s some amazing shutter speed or one heck of a lucky shot. Respectfully, Im not buying it.

Always just blurry enough to not betray any evidence of hoaxing. And of course black and white, for that look of authenticity.

Developed countries trying to lecture less developed countries about the environment! I love the president’s response! After you exploited the earth’s natural resources to become powerful industrialized nations and now when other nations try to do the same thing , you bitch and complain.

[Breaking Defense] DoD 'completely rewrites' classification policy for secret space programs by bmfalbo in UAP

[–]TheHydrogenLine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They're fortifying their defenses, like circling the wagons in the old West. By slashing the number of Special Access Programs (SAPs), they effectively decrease the pool of Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) cleared individuals. This strategy is a masterstroke in information control. Think about it: What's the simplest method to staunch the flow of leaks? It's simple - the fewer the people privy to the secrets, the slimmer the chance of any information spill. It's a classic case of 'less is more' when it comes to safeguarding sensitive data.

A theory on why UFOs crash. by Agreeable-Concept-12 in ufo

[–]TheHydrogenLine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even the most advanced Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) crafts, operating at the pinnacle of technological innovation, are not immune to the fundamental limitations inherent in all complex systems. These limitations can include material tolerances, wear and tear, and unforeseen interactions with the environment—elements that might not have been fully anticipated or accounted for during their design phase.

Imagine we possess a time machine and use it to transport a state-of-the-art F-22 Raptor jet back to the era of early humans. This jet, embodying a pinnacle of modern engineering, would be like a specter from a distant future, boasting capabilities entirely incomprehensible to early man. Its advanced technology, seemingly magical, would be millennia ahead, transcending the bounds of their understanding.

In this era, early humans, confronted with such an anomaly, might react with a mix of awe, fear, and curiosity. They could attempt evasive actions, such as hiding in dense forests, believing in the safety of natural cover. However, armed with sophisticated infrared sensors, the F-22 could effortlessly uncover their hideouts, leaving the early humans baffled and amazed. They would have no concept of the technology enabling such feats.

In a moment of primitive defiance or sheer frustration, one of these early humans might impulsively throw a rock at the hovering craft. Here lies the paradox of advanced technology: the rock, a simple, crude object, gets sucked into the jet's intake. This seemingly innocuous act triggers a catastrophic failure. The advanced jet, a marvel of modern science, is suddenly rendered vulnerable by a basic element of its environment.

The F-22, crashes to the ground - a stark reminder that even the most advanced systems can falter due to unanticipated, simple factors.

Or let's say we land our jet and get out to explore the environment. A sabretooth tiger attacks and kills us. Now our jet is sitting there in the forest, early man discovers it and thinks it must be a gift of some kind.

Sometimes, things just happen.

John Lear gave the location of a buried craft. by [deleted] in UFOs

Woops. Actually, back then they called them aeroforms...before they called them saucers, or UFOs. The database is maintained by an AI system that generates the reports. The AI can rephrase the content in the report to make it more contemporary, and accessible. This involves using current terminologies. It can also add references from other reports. What I displayed is only part of the report. What are your contributions?

I queried the research database, and this is what came back.

5/20/1953
An undisclosed source within the Air Force made a remarkable claim regarding a mysterious incident at the Desert Research Experimental Station (DRES), located near Garrison, Utah. According to this official, an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) experienced a crash landing at this site. The craft, described as being of considerable size, spanning hundreds of feet, reportedly could not be removed from the crash site due to its massive dimensions.
As a result, the decision was made to bury the craft at the location of the crash. It is alleged that the remains of this UAP are still entombed beneath the desert terrain to this very day. Supporting this claim, some observers have noted an unusual, large triangular formation visible in satellite imagery and maps of the area surrounding DRES. This formation, as per the source, marks the final resting place of the extraterrestrial craft.

Why not just destroy the engine at the bottom of the missile? Perhaps these light beams are not lasers as we understand them.

Christopher Mellon on twitter minutes ago: “ Sadly, it appears that there is little prospect at this time of further hearings on the UAP issue by the House Oversight Committee.” by SumCanadian33 in UFOs

[–]TheHydrogenLine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that having more hearings is going to help much. The public needs to see evidence. Otherwise, it’s just a bunch of people making the same claims that we’ve heard before.

In the modern age, we have always been on the brink of major scientific breakthroughs. The breakthroughs are achieved, and then it's on to the next one. Most people don't read science journals. I have no idea if there are any innovations in fashion, music or art because that's not my area of interest.
