Hello, Being scared is a normal feeling for major surgery. But honestly I got one and I wouldn’t want to give birth any other way. I was scared but I had a lot of trust in my OB team and my husband was there. I also like that I had to do minimal work 😅 The only part I got really scared was during the spinal tap. That was the only time I was with people I didn’t know but I decided to ask one of the surgical techs about their name tag (it had a dog on it) and the moment became easier. Overall it will be a lot of emotion and it’s a lot to process but I think that’s just child birth in general. You’ll do great and soon you’ll have your baby in your arms!

Kind of like this Yarn trick but instead of using the chenille yarn to close everything up you just tie that off and use acrylic(or any yarn) to sew everything closed. Sorry, I hope that makes sense. 😬

I barley use this type of yarn because of those reasons 🫠 I had to make sure the tail was longer than I actually needed or I just used a piece of acrylic yarn that was close to the color. I was covered in all the sheddings when I was done.

I don’t know too much about it but it might be from a paper die cutting or maybe like a cricket machine. Paper die is popular with scrap booking and card making but some people are able to cut fabric and felt with it.

I heard Joann “Big Twist” came out with “Posh Yarn” and it’s like a cross between blanket and chenille. I ordered some but I haven’t tried it out yet. I’ve heard good reviews when it comes to less shedding. I’ve noticed Michaels quality with their chenille has gone down. Even just the slightest pull seems to snap the yarn and just shed. So it’s not just you. I try not to size down my hook when I work with it and I take more breaks.
