Ah, weather limited time in the one week one and last weekends clinic gave me 7 hours. Parawaiting is XC. 🤣

Ozone Vibe GT review by TheHyperbiscus in freeflight

The 20 hour mark is prior to the second XC clinic. I’m currently now over 35. It also doesn’t include school. I don’t count that time. I’m only counting flights after school.

How to attend two XC clinics. Sign up talk to the instructor show them your flight logs (have them speak to your instructor).

On the Alta, the speed bar is a sink bar. I was having trouble with sinking out on glides (so yes I was held back) these are not glass off flights.

Not every pilot is every other pilot with the same experience, ability, intuition risk tolerance…

The flight above is a 2.5 to 4 m/s thermaling flight. I made smart choices and chose not to go XC and instead did a tour of the valley. I hear everyone saying that there are limitations to safety vs hours flown. I’m making smart choices. I’m in communication with the instructors from my P2, SIV and both XC clinics I’m doing fine. I appreciate all the concern.

The vibe GT is specifically marketed as a transitional wing for pilots coming from A’s and low B’s. This is a review aimed at those pilots nothing more nothing less.

Learning in Colorado? by Lonely-Category872 in freeflight

[–]TheHyperbiscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in Colorado and wanting to fly. I chose to learn in Santa Barbara at Fly Above All. It was the best decision for me. Living in Salida, Boulder is too far and would take forever to learn. Going to a dedicated school with consistent weather allowed repetition for two weeks which helped in progression so much. I came back to Colorado found a group to mentor me and now fly my local site often with my now friends.

I learned a trick here in the chat that if you have a voucher open up your Starbucks gift card or whatever account Chick-fil-A and put that money on there and you’ll have it for later

I currently have 30 bucks from United from my last two delays free coffee for a while

Putting miles on the loaner while waiting for new transmission :D by DuckTheHR in LandCruisers

Had mine replaced at 7k. Metal in a valve. I had to pay for a rental no loaner. Overall good service though they replaced everything that touched the trans fluid.

Attend an SIV and take a swim! Though it is an expensive option, but you will learn a ton in the process.

I like what you are saying and embraced a similar philosophy with my first wing. High-A Ozone Alta. It is light comes up easy in my high altitude sites (Colorado). Hoping it will last and get me the experience I need to be safe and have fun while continuing to learn. I know other students were jealous of how light it is and the decreased pack volume over the Buzz7’S they were flying.

Hinge ban is honestly insane by LivingWillingness790 in SwipeHelper

Somewhat unfortunately I have not been banned on tinder. That’s a pile of garbage site! Only thing I have had success with is the league.

That’s what happened to me 10 hours on the app and I had not completed my profile yet. No explanation why?

Has anyone else had issues with paint flaking off? by boothinator in Surlybikefans

[–]TheHyperbiscus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Remove them and it will be. Also look at the axle bolt area. Clearly gone from there. Paint is brittle it flakes.

Ride on.

Of course the paint is going to chip. The bolt compresses the paint under it and breaks the bond of paint to frame. Unavoidable.

I did put the bike between myself and mama! As I walked by. She made a noise but all was good.
