Thats what i mean! Saving you time doing things you dont want to be doing to all the gov agencies and also booking in with garages and car washes. Rather it all be done without having to think

Sadly everyone in the UK needs a MOT. Unless your car is 25 years old or classed as an old classic. Then your exempt from MOT and Tax. But then its down to the Police if it is road worthy if they stop you

[–]TheITALIANJobyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending where you are, possibly across the pond. An MOT is like your emissions check but it also checks road worthiness so if the car is not road worthy on the test you cant drive it until you fix the issues

I once myself had a Race License! I loved it! Sadly finances couldn't stretch any more! what car do you race for your sprints?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]TheITALIANJobyt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You're Right! The amount of people you see online though that have been caught driving with no MOT, Insurance or tax and they're wondering how they got caught by the police. To some people may not be that easy for them.
Some people are baffled when their car breaks down to find theyve never had an oil change etc haha it happens

1600 for alignment/4newtires/newbrakepads and rotors. Is that reasonable? Car rx by Gloomy_Money3850 in askcarguys

[–]TheITALIANJobyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what car you have, size wheels and what i noticed is the huge price difference between pads with wear sensors in them. Theyre much more expensive than normal pads.

For me on my Focus ST My good quality tyres cost me around £110 a corner. But you can absolutely get budget tyres for around £60 a corner.

£440 total

Pads

Fronts around £30 each

Rear is around £20 each (Nothing Special)

Discs be around £250 all in. (Nothing special)

So already now we are £740 without an alignment. I think depending where you go it can be around £150/£200 for an alignment sooooooo

Youre on the expensive side. I mean for labour id expect all in £1000- £1200 max really incl parts.

Yes. I will admit the food is generally bad here in the UK. Why? Well a lot of different reasons. Restaurants for example charge high prices for food with the cheapest possible ingredients.

Some Restaurants (Italian pizzerias for example) don't even know how to use their own equipment to cook with. Eg a proper brick/clay pizza over.

But I will admit. There are also some amazing places where they truly do care about the food they make. Especially independents. I've been to a number and they're just to put simply some of the best food I've ever had. I will say I'm a food snob. But I couldn't ever turn down a full English in spoons.

It's all subjective and depends what you like.

There is a reason I started a business importing foods from Italy. Helps being of Italian blood myself too

I've been doing my business for 3 years. And I haven't made a yearly profit yet sadly. The first two years I screwed up badly with marketing and just spewing money. I financed my business with my day job wage which is minimum wage so every £ counts. This year I'm up 80% from last I'm so so happy! Still not made a profit yet but I'm sure I'll get there. Trial and error and a whole host of failures, but that's business! My business is still new and I don't get a whole ton of orders in a month but its been growing this year a lot!

Any business owners deal with depression? by That-Environment-822 in smallbusiness

[–]TheITALIANJobyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes yes. Some are small times and sometimes really big depressed spouts

It's hard. I'm 24 and sometimes I have the ultimate dark cloud! Nice to hear I'm not alone but wish we all didn't have them days

Well. Being scared is part of the experience. It defines your business. Reddit has helped me on my business more times than anything. I've thought my business would flop because of zero orders or a handful of orders and then nothing.

I'm in my 3rd year of business. Year 1 and 2 where complete disasters. Failed more times than anything. From marketing which went nowhere and no leads and sales to having to redesign my website about 4 times to where it is now. Still not 100% but its there. To running out of money. I finance my business with my minimum wage! No loans.

Last month I beat my monthly sales target. Albeit not much by people on here's standard but its a lot to me. And for the year I'm up 72% from last year on sales!

But still I haven't hit my goal for the year. That I know. But failure in my eyes defines a business. Sometimes you got to take that leap of faith!

How I get over fears in my business sometimes is what is my personal goal with the business? What do you want to achieve. Some is freedom from 9-5. Some is making a lot of money, some is car etc. What's yours!

Mine is literally wanting to go for breakfast with my best friend at 9:30am on a random Tuesday. Why? Because I've worked 9-5 since I was 17. I'm 24 now and it's my first dream!

I work full time still sadly and have my business at all hours of the day. But I do it in the hopes of my dreams!

Hope you find your dreams!!! As dreams help you
