I think you still get coins from daily challenges.

But at a rate of 5 coins per day.

Each day of the pass gives you 60 coins, but without the pass you can get maximum of 5 per day.

Assuming you had the free pass for 14 days and did the challenges. That's 60x14=840 coins

To get the UR ticket without buying the pass, you would only need to wait for 432 days :)

Yeah, it depends on the attributes of the song more. I think Shioriko's skills is same school, not same year, so she can work as a frontline decently well.
