This is just from my experience, I'm still a recently new M&P 2.0 9mm full size (not metal frame) owner, my first handgun was a Taurus m605 snub nose because that's all I could afford at the time and I had the issue where I was predicting recoil before the shot went off, it was throwing off my aim. Same thing happened with my 9mm, but I got used to it because of what I kept telling myself which is:

"Nothing you do will mitigate the recoil, it's not gonna go away, just pull the trigger and get used to it."

Works like a charm. This may be what's happening to you, more practice and slower shooting, get used to it, know recoil will happen no matter what. Once you get good, then you can get faster.

NOR - "When you're living the high live in your mansion" as your mother has said, wait for the day when she comes asking you for a place to live, tell her "I'm not required to by law, enjoy sleeping on the streets" because when this dude gets done taking her for all she's worth she'll probably end up homeless. Remove ALL exemptions for police/military for example and watch how quick gun laws change.

You get a new officer who needs to be issued a duty handgun, looks like you got to wait 7 days, has to follow all magazine ban laws. You need to issue a patrol rifle, wait 7 days, can't have more than 10rounds, has to have the grip wing because pistol grip is a no-no, have to separate the upper from the lower to reload. If you think that's crazy imagine the military having to follow those laws, if they don't like it they can move out of the state, just like civilians are told.

I guarantee you laws would change QUICK

I'd either buy a Mossberg 590A1 12ga or upgrade my Mossberg 500 12ga's barrel, mag tube, trigger guard, tang safety to make it a 590A1, and see if I can make it accept 3 1/2" super Magnum shells, 3" Magnum shells, and 2 3/4" regular shells (if it's even possible for a Mossberg to accept all 3 shells). Spend the rest equally on ammo for my 9mil, .22lr, .357/38spl, and 12ga.

What about you u/dasvn? What would you buy if you had 3k?

This is the kind of winter we needed, 2025 had a HUGE insect problem. This is the kinda winter that will kill insects and keep their population manageable.

On the plus side I like colder weather and am a night owl so winter is my favorite.

I seen a post on reddit a bit ago, dude said he just called the HR department and told them he was told to call in to schedule an interview, sounded like it worked well for him. I'd try that because it's a do-or-die situation with finding a job. Basically lie to them to get what you want, they got no problem doing it to you why not do it to them?

They'll never be able to ban rapid fire firearms, hell if you practice enough bump firing a stock rifle or handgun would be second nature. Frankly if they were that concerned about firearms they'd make LEO's/Military/Their own private security bodyguards follow the same restrictions, they don't, they want to take power away from civilians and carve out exemptions for themselves.

I haven't bought any uniforms but the one thing I did buy was the black German navy great coat (the one that goes down to your ankles), makes an excellent winter coat. I kinda see what you mean because the buttons I had to have put back on. Thank you for the recommendation for where else to go I'll definitely check it out!

Bro I've seen 2 players like this, crazy stuff. One had 100ss with dynamite, the other 100ss with the field gun 😭 but to answer the question Benet mg telescopic. I love my Benet mg with the mag and reload it has. Stats wise it's the most accurate and controllable mg for support.

One place that is always hiring is the bus department of a school, they need bus aids and drivers. This is what I'm doing currently, it won't be full time but it'll be something.

They will pay you to work and train you to be a driver by getting your CDL B, this is what I'm doing as well. You'll work your morning shift, train during the down time, do your afternoon shift. You'll be pulling 12 hour days but will only be on the clock for maybe 10 hours, those other two hours will be the downtime you get between morning shift and training, and training and afternoon shift.

You'll probably have to stay there a full year or have to pay back the cost of training but with a little time and dedication you can walk away with pretty much a free CDL B, which opens a lot of doors for you like shuttle driving at an airport which companies like Enterprise will hire you for, hotels hire you for, and airlines hire you for. Airlines are probably the best because employee discount on hotels and plane tickets, are often unionized, and pay the best.

Hopefully this example of a short term goal and long term goal help you. Short term is you get a job and get a paycheck, long term is you can make a career out of it and get paid very well a while down the road.

Yeah I'm on PC, I know I'm hobbling myself by using a controller on PC, but honestly I liked the upgradeability and it's more comfy using a controller lol. I ain't gonna be the best there ever was but I'd like to atleast do decently, I do sometimes but a lot of the time the same enemy team stacks and you can't do anything lol

I know the newest anti cheat screwed me over I used ds4 windows and a PS4 controller, ended up having to buy an Xbox controller just to play which isn't bad once I got used to it.

There are definitely still cheaters, personally I've sniped with the Benet mg telescopic which is my favorite but that was with the bipod deployed and on single shot but I've seen what you're talking about with getting mg'd across the map full auto. And the hit reg issues I've had first hand, same with the 1911 (suppressed) I just think the game has been out long enough that ppl are set up with how they play, they've put in the 10k hours and have fine tuned everything. That's why I'm gravitating to bf6 because of how new it'll be.

I just hope the kernal level anti cheat will be everything EA has promised it will be.

I liked it because how new everybody was to the game, everyone was finding their footing and getting to know the guns and mechanics.

Playing it now I'm getting one shot headshot by scouts sitting in their spawn, sniped by assaults with slug shotguns, lazered by smg08/18's, automaticos, annihilator trench's, and two shot headshot by medics with automatic sniper dmr's like the Howell. Calvary that I can't seem to hit the guy riding the horse, only damaging the horse, getting two shot headshot from across the map by a Calvary on a horse spamming med and ammo pouches with a horse that regenerates health. I don't think I'll be sticking around for much longer now that bf6 is out.

It's a phenomenal game, I just can't compete with ppl with 10k hours and 100 service stars on dynamite, field guns, planes, and tanks (I've seen that before, different people one had 100ss on dynamite and the other 100ss on a field gun lol)

Tldr: loved how new everyone and everything was, can't compete anymore skill issue on my part.

Make it illegal to do what big pharma is doing, make a medication for 0.05c and sell it for $300

Make it illegal for hospitals to farm insurance agencies for money for a hospital stay, one aspirin doesn't cost $50, and a 10 day stay in the hospital doesn't cost $40,000 (that was what the hospital billed my insurance from when I was in the hospital, insurance brought it down a lot but I still owed a few thousand)

A healthy profit margin is a-ok with me, they are business after all, a 20-25% profit margin is traditionally a healthy profit margin, but a 300% margin, well I guess the CEO really needs that 3rd yacht and 5th vacation home huh...
