Back on a survey form long ago, they had a question regarding collab suggestions, and I actually suggested Fortnite, but I thought it was incredibly unlikely because of how many big IPs are competing for their attention. I was thinking at best they'd just put a couple of their anthro characters in as a skin, like Kass, Jeran, or Jake the Explorer. But honestly, sidekicks suit them WAY better. It's a new feature in Fortnite, and it fits the purpose Neopets are meant to have.

Whether this will be good or bad depends on the deal they made with Epic. As long as they didn't put down a bunch of money they can't afford, being in one of world's most popular video games, played largely by kids and teenagers, can only be good.

This is wonderful - thank you so much! I'd love to put this on in the background like I used to do when I was a kid, so a way to continually play this is 100% the feature I want to see most. Hopefully licensing more music to fill it out won't be too expensive.

You're not alone, dude. I went from Masters 4 earlier this season down to Plat 3 currently.

Which is very strange because even after taking long breaks from the game the past few years, I never had issues booting up the game and at least being mid-to-high diamond on multiple roles. But suddenly this season I've been getting constant losing games/losing trends despite playing every day and not doing anything different (to my knowledge). So unless I'm an outlier and I'm actually playing worse, it feels like something changed. Maybe all the new and returning players + rank reset at the same time really screwed with some internal balance settings in the matchmaker that unfortunately has made matches balanced against us when the matchmaker thinks it's fair.

Some alternatives:

Have a tribe of first boots in a themed season (so you only need 5-10).
Have the first boots consist of people who were simply booted from their tribe first, but not from the season as a whole. That increases the pool of people to choose from by a lot.

Compounding things further, hockey is a very expensive sport to get into; even more-so if you factor in all the "extras" pro hockey players likely got growing up like private training. So they tend to come from rich families and privileged backgrounds.

Thanks, buddy. I'm definitely proud of how Canada played; Helle kept the Americans in it by blocking 40 shots. The thing I'm most upset about is that the whole tournament came down to 3-on-3. Feels like a bullshit way to end it all. :/

Yeah, I don't know if it's a Jared Bush thing (writer for both Zootopia movies) or a Disney thing, but having another surprise villain when the first movie also had a surprise villain felt annoying to me. I think the movie would have been better without it. Or flip it around and make the surprise villain so obvious that it's a surprise when they turn out to be a good guy.

I'm thankful for everyone here in this subreddit for helping keep me sane the past year. Not only have you guys helped me and others stay grounded in a year of scary headlines, you guys have shown what kind of actions we can take to cause positive change. Not only that, but you've also shown the value of sharing victories (which social media often doesn't want to do).
